As you can see, Neeraj has posted today but the time is messed up.
Its because the blog time is setup for US Central Time. Does anyone know how to setup multiple time zones for different users?
I have been looking on Google but no luck so far. No luck on WordPress support either. Wiki wasn’t opening today so I will try that when I get home.
But if anyone does know, please leave a comment. Thanks!
Never heard of something like this, but will have a look around, if i find something, will shoot an eMail.
Hey Monty – thanks yaar. I am going to keep looking as well. It would be a nice thing don’t you think??
Well, dunno!!
Coz acc to me, if you have multiple authors, you should have one time zone and not multiple, reason being, if you make a post your morning, which is night in India, it displays as the first post, but just 2 mins before you, if Neeraj makes a post, he will have his post right at the top,.
ARRRGHHHH, i cant put this in words. Too lazy to explain it. Call me and i’ll explain
call you?? is it cheaper to call from aussie to us or vice versa??
well what you are saying makes sense. how will it know what post to put first? dang..i thought it was a good solution..:???:
Its cheap to call from US to OZ.. Bindaas call.
Remember the time difference though
Haan toh phir ek din kabhi “surprise” call milega monty bhayia ko
Came here from a Google search on timezones in WP. Not much luck I guess :)
Hi Chetan
Were you looking for the same thing that I was? I haven’t had any luck, but if I do, I will let you know
Yes, I’ve been looking for a similar thing; it appears that the time settings are per blog (probably not per user):???:. Haven’t seen the detailed documentation yet. Thanks, Poonam. Likewise.
Yep it is per blog and I haven’t had any luck on finding it. I am going to find out if someone is able to make a hack or something. If it is a success, you will be the first to know
Well the easiest way to implement this would be to switch to Advanced Screen and enter the local time manually…
What is Advanced Screen?
