Spoiled Brats!
So my friend, B, called me this morning and asked me if I wanted to go to the IAP picnic. So I thought I would go just because I hadn’t seen her in a long time. The picnic itself was fine, nothing too spectactular.
There is this one family, the Kumar family. Both parents are doctors and all three kids are spoiled brats. A, the oldest, just graduated from high school (12th). She thinks she is ALL THAT just because she gets everything she wants.
May it be cell phone, Mercedes, clothes. You name it she has all the top branded things. Why do parents do that to their children at such a young age? Even her youngest sister, who might be in 7th grade, is such a spoiled brat.
If they are like this now, how are they going to understand the word “value” or “earn” when they get older? I totally blame the parents on this because I can just see Anvita’s future. She is going to be a twice divorcee with a mediocre job (if she has one at all) living off her parents wealth just because she doesn’t know how to “earn” it herself. She has been given everything to her by hand, why would she leave that now?
Even if Neeraj and I become millionaires, my children are NOT going to be spoiled brats and they are NOT going to have everything handed to them. Sorry kids, if you want it, then you will have to earn it….the old fashioned way:!:
