Three more Gmail invitations!
So I was asking Monty the other day how he got a gmail invitation. So he sent me one and I set up an account for Neeraj (verma.neeraj@gmail.com). Then today, Neeraj got three more invitations!
His friend Rajat, from college, is working at Google for the summer so he sent Neeraj three invitations. So I asked him what should we do with them because Neeraj already got his account. So he told me to make myself one (I think its going to be Poonam.bhatia@gmail.com) and then just send the others to someone else. But to whom?
So I asked my friend Beth if she wanted one, and she said yes. So she set herself up today (fiddlerbethe@gmail.com). But now that I noticed is that I can forward that invitation to anyone as many times as I want for three weeks. Wow.
It seems like everyone must have one now, but if there is someone out there that wants a gmail account, then let me know
Going back home in about 45 mins!! Yay!! Then I will post when I get home. Chalo Alvida. Jai Mata Di.

Do you think the gmail craze still exists or is fading off?? Now that there are so many others providing the same, i wonder why people really want a gmail address!!
To me, its just another email account.

Gmail has its advantages…its banner free..its fast…its got an awesome threading functionality which no other email has! :) what say?

Monty - I think you are right as well. I think it is fading off. With Rediff and Yahoo (Hotmail sometime in the future) giving great storage but there are some benefits for Gmail.
Well, i wanted to share the wealth if anyone was interested

Oh yeah ridhish, you’re right when it comes to being ad-free and fast. Personally i didnt like the threading functionality.
Suppose we both are exchanging emails, so it will show up as just one email and then threaded within, which for some odd reason i didnt like.
But apneko kya, i dont use gmail nor hotmail nor yahoo. Pop3 account zindabad :duck::mrgreen:

Poonam, since you also use np.com now, i doubt you’ll use gmail much.

I think the threading makes it easier to look at all the different mails you might have written on one subject. Waise tumhare liye sahi hai. Outlook Zindabad:wink:
