Vroom Vroom…

August has always been a bad month for me and driving. I have had I think all of my tickets in this month! Isn’t that crazy? So how many tickets have I had in my span of 5 years of driving? 3 tickets - 1 speeding and two for not completely stopping at a stop sign (that’s just crap! :???:). There is a rule in my state where if you get two tickets in one year and you are under 21 years of age, you get your driver’s license suspended for three months. Well, I didn’t know this funda back in 2001 when I was under 21. I had one speeding ticket and one stop sign fault. Two weeks later I get a notice in the mail that my license was suspended for three months!! This was RIGHT before the beginning of the fall semester of my second year in college. So Papa and Bhayia had to chauffeur me around to wherever I needed to go for three months.

This year I am being more careful. Its 19th of August — and so far so good (touch wood!). Let me just get though this month with hardly any driving, and I will be happy. Right now being on the bench and not having to travel, its great because I don’t even leave the house — so no worries on the driving. I am not a crazy driver; at times I do drive fast, but I am always very safe when I have others in the car.

Isn’t that Lamborghini such a sweet car? I love it and someday just hope to drive it (not own it, just drive it). I love sports cars and the best part about this car is the doors. It reminds me of Back to the Future movies but they show the Delorean not a Lamborghini.

My car itself is getting old (1995 Dodge Neon), but I have decided to wait until Neeraj is here. Then we are going to either buy/lease a new car - 2005 BMW 325i. :lol: We both love BMWs and I think it would be fun to have for about two years. With a lease plan, you can drive a new car every two/three years, and I think that’s a great idea. Enjoy life as much as you can. :lol:
