Hum Aur Tum - Saif Aur Rani

I think mostly everyone has seen Hum Tum by now, but I just saw it today. I had some really high expectations for this movie, and I may be the only person on this Earth that really didn’t like it.
Up till Intermission, it was great and was looking forward towards what will happen futher. I am not sure what happened but I didn’t finish the movie (I fell asleep deliberately ).
For those who have not seen/heard about the movie, you can read about the movie and its plot here
Its not all due to the fact that my favourite Abhishek Bachchan dies in this film, but just the idea of losing your life partner so early — just really touched my heart. I am just a senti girl. hehe.
Ok yes, I know its JUST a movie, its not real-life but I have a MAJOR problem with movies — I try to relate to the characters (more or less try to put myself in their shoes when I watch it). Don’t ask me why I do that and its a bad quality to have. So now you might be understanding better to why I got a bit sentimental.
So I just talked to Neeraj about the movie and he made me feel much better.
Its just a story — its not real. I guess I just needed Neeraj to tell me that. How dumb I was.
So currently my parents and bhayia are watching the movie, so I joined them to finish the rest of the movie. I guess it wasn’t half-bad after all. Why does she have to lose her life partner so early in life?
I guess I will never get over that!
Goofy is my middle name.
Ridhish - I will spare you the energy and say it myself, “Bechara Neeraj.”
Great acting by such versatile actors as Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee. Every Punjabi mother should be like Kiron Kher - wah Punjab de bebe da naam roshan kar diya!
Baaki sab theek tak. Down to four more days before Neeraj goes home.
Mixed emotions.
Alvida. Jai Mata Di. Mata Rani se sirf duayein maangi hai. ![]()

You know how the journey is. He’s leaving on the August-Kranti train Friday evening.. so he won’t reach home until Saturday morning. Then he has four days to talk it over with his family and then he will be back to Mumbai on Thursday.
Keep your fingers crossed. I will keep you updated.

HUM TUM is a brilliant movie…very suljha hua direction and if u r sentimental, u shud hv seen the second half closely…the way the romance of Saif and Rani shapes up just oozes the romanticism out of u…the film was not losing about ur life partner…it was about finding it again, so that life moves on…and just see the way Saif and Rani come close, scene by scene, bit by bit…its AMAZING!!!!
