Laloo, Rabri, and the National Anthem

Laloo Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi sitting during the National Anthem

Saw this photo on Abhi’s blog and I think its pretty stupid and dishonoring for Railway Minister, Laloo, and his wife, Chief Minister of Bihar Rabri Devi, to be sitting during the playing of the Indian National Anthem. :irked: :banghead:

If you look closely to the photo, it seems that they are both reading something, but wait, I though that they both couldn’t read??? Hmm, I smell conspiracy. :rotfl: Angootaa chaap se seedhaa padna, mere dimaag main yeh baat jammi nahi.

Its people like them that are doing no good to our society in India. Its so unfortunate that we can’t get rid of them either!

After speaking with Neeraj on the phone, he made me think where did this photo really come from and if Laloo and Rabri really were not standing during the playing of the Indian National Anthem. After some googling, I have found some sources to back up the claim that it did happen:

  • The Hindu
  • Samachar
  • Neeraj always make me think.

Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav and his beloved wife Rabri Devi sitting during the National Anthem

It seems that they are trying to read the Anthem in angootha chaap language, while others are standing in respect of PLPY. Photo copied from NP’s …
