Cell #3 is now missing……

So I got up this morning at usual time and emailed Neeraj like I always do to let him know that I am awake and to find out how his day is going. He writes back that he is not having a good day, and that he lost his mobile phone.

I was VERY upset with Neeraj because this is not the first time he has lost his mobile phone. I told him to give me a number where I can call so that I could talk to him. So he told me the story that this morning he had put on some different trousers that did not have as deep pockets as his other trousers. Anyway, he had his mobile in his pocket and went to the office by auto rickshaw. He thinks that when he must have gotten out of the rickshaw, the mobile must have fell on the seat.

So his day was horrible trying to contact his mobile phone number in hopes that someone will pick up. When I talked to him (around 5.30 pm IST), he had no luck yet. I told him that he should go get another cell phone because we can’t live without one. He hadn’t gotten much done throughout the day at the office, so he said that he would go at 7.30 pm IST after getting being productive for a while.

As he began to leave to go to get a new cell, he tried one more time on his old number. Someone finally picked up, and it was the rickshaw wallah’s friend. He had the cell and Neeraj told him that it was his, and if he tells him where they are located, he will come and pick it up. The person wouldn’t tell him and said that the rickshaw wallah was not here, and that he wanted to tell him prior to giving it to Neeraj. Neeraj gave him an alternate number and told him to call him ASAP once the rickshaw wallah returns. Neeraj had already disconnected outgoing calls on his old cell, so the guy would have to go to a STD booth or something.

Anyway by the end of the day, Neeraj called him back and the rickshaw wallah’s friend said that Neeraj should call tomorrow around 9 am IST and they will plan to meet somewhere in Hirenandani. So we will see what happens tomorrow….if the guy shows up or not.

I tell Neeraj that he should be more careful, and its no one to blame but himself because of the headache and pain he went through today. He said that he will be more careful, and I hope he will be. He knows that we cannot live without a cell phone, so I hope Neeru, that you have learned your lesson.

The more times we try to save money, the more times something happens that causes us to spend. I hope that he gets back his mobile tomorrow. We are lost without it.

hmmmm yeah it happened sometimes  not only mobile, also wallet … there was one time that I took out my purse and then put on my knee in the car. I forgot to put it back into my bag and when I was out from the car, of course the purse dropped on the street and I didn’t know that. It dropped in the cinema area.

When I went home I just realized that I lost my purse, I cried and asked Suhadi to go back to all the places that we went before … he was really upset and he took me to all the places that we went  Thanks God !!! My purse was still there, on the street, somehow nobody saw it and didn’t pick it up :hyper:

Exactly what you said …. sometimes we want to save our money but somehow something happened which spend our money accidently …. It happened to me and Suhadi so many times you know …

We save the money, we try not to buy a lot of things, dinner outside once a week, etc … We lost our laptops, 2 laptops, can you believe it ? last time as well, we save our money, then suddenly, Suhadi’s wallet being stolen  Somehow it just happened ….

Anyway, I hope Neeraj will get his mobile back … tell the result yah in the next posting
And you, have a nice day there :hyper: don’t be too upset *hugssssssss*

Rashu its a waste of money (to again spend 8000 Rs. for a lost mobile – the retail cost of his mobile today) and that’s why I was getting upset with Neeraj. He should have been more careful. Abhi toh mobile ko kho diya..koi din kuch bada kho dehga..toh problem hogi.

Wow Mona, I was impressed that you went back to the cinema place and your purse was found on the street! That’s just amazing! You would think that so many people go by there in even a short amount of time, and still you were able to find it, that’s great. Sometimes luck is on your side.

2 laptops? How were you able to lose two laptops?? I want to hear this story.

Yup, sometimes we, as people, try to save money and maybe we try too hard becuz just @ that time, something goes wrong.

    Thanks Ankur!
