Half the Work Nearly Completed!

First of all, Happy Dusshera to everyone! May God give you all the very good things in life that you are deserving! May all of your dreams come true!

After long-winded, heated discussion with tears flying, a conclusion and a prominent solution has arised. My parents are now booked to go to India. :smile: They will be in India for about two months time, and I hope that they are able to enjoy every single minute of it. Enjoy the times with their respective families, enjoy the beauty and essence of India, and enjoy the time that they will be spending with their dear sweet dhamaadji (son-in-law), my Neeraj. :razz:

News on my ticket? :roll: Its waitlisted by two different travel agencies for the same exact date. :sad: It seems that if you fly on 23rd December, the rate will be $1510, but if you fly on 24th December, the rate will be $1240. Isn’t that stupid?? :banghead: I really don’t understand the failing airline industry. :no: So right now i am waitlisted for 24th December with return of 14th January.

They will tell me by the end of next week what happens, if my ticket goes through or not. I am also waitlisted for the 23rd December flight as well (just as a backup). **fingers crossed**

Neeraj is still investigating ticket prices in India. Parents are right now booked on a one way, and if it goes well, then Neeraj will book their return flight from India. So hope for the best there.

There’s my update. Tonight heading back to the mandir for the last day of garba/raas. Have an enjoyable weekend!

    I am really happy for you :rotfl: after such struggling finally your parents will come to India and meet Neeraj :hyper: I am so happy for you and wish you all the best for the meeting. :smile:

    Yeahhh exactly !!! Flight industry sometimes is confusing … the price is different just because of one day. I hope you will get the ticket, don’t worry usually people just booked their tickets and then they cancelled it in last minutes so you will always get the chance :smile: anyway, you have booked in 2 different agents, it should be allright I guess … last time I booked in 3 agents hahaha :blush:

    Aaaww..thanks so much Mona. :smile: It is quite exciting. I can’t wait for them to meet Neeraj. All will go smooth, I know. :smile:

    Airline industry has so much to learn. Really. I just don’t understand their tactical strategy right now as their losing more and more money.

    I hope the waitlisting goes thru as well. Will start calling more agents on Monday in hopes that someone gets me a confirmed ticket.

    No problem abt. the garba stuff. We will definitely play one day together. :wink: Have a great weekend!

    I think, the difference in ticket prices is ‘coz no Angrez will prefer to Travel on Christmas Day :wink:
