Karwa Chauth Ki Raat..

Karwa chauth ki raat….aur chand ab nikal raha hai. It is the night of Karwa Chauth where wives fast all day until they see the moon at night and have their first ounce of water and eat for the first time. Wives fast all day and pray for their husbands’ long life and prosperity. Many husbands also fast this day for their wives.

Today the moon was suppose to be set at 7 pm but it became 10.30 pm when we finally saw a tiny glimpse of it. Phataphat Mumma did pooja in case the moon would disappear again. Due to rain and cloudiness, the moon’s appearance was short and not so clear. Soon enough, it disappeared into the black clouds.

Even though we are apart, I have been fasting for Neeraj for the past four years on this day. A secret revealed that only Neeraj knew. Neeraj has also told me that I don’t need to do it until we get married, but I have always in my heart wanted to do it. He’s my love, my life, and in my heart, he is my husband.

Wishing all husbands/wives in the world that have celebrated Karwa Chauth lots of love and happiness in their lives.

    Sometimes guys just don’t understand why we want to do that for them but we just want to do that because we love them, right ? :wink:
    Sometimes Suhadi doesn’t understand either and asks me not to this or that for him, but they are our loves, we are more than happy doing it :blush:

    Kya baat hai is right, Ankur. :wink: Even my parents haven’t know. :smile: I think its important to do it, especially in the relationship that I am in with Neeraj where we are so close to each other. :smile:

    Yep you are very right Mona. :smile: I think that Neeraj never wanted me to do it only because we are so apart. If we would be together on this day, then I think it would have been different. Yep, sometimes we just have to explain to them that we want to do it for them. :smile:

    Aaww Neeru…main bhi yehi sochti hoon..aur tumhe maloom hai..ke tum mere saath hote toh kitna aacha hota. :smile: Bas ab jaldi se aa jaaye apna bhi time. :smile:

    KICKSTART Thanks buddy!! I know that she is so caring about me. I just wanted to tell you today’s incident only. She is used to call me in the morning around 7:30. Today when she called me, I was in deep sleep. Though I had enough sleep by that time, still I was like not in mood of getting up. She asked me whether I wanted to sleep little bit more. Then I said yes another 20 mins.. and she gave it. she was waiting for talking to me since her morning, but she was so kind and so caring abt me that she still didn’t have any problem and let me sleep. Great poonu!!:smile: I am impressed. I thought about it after being in the office and was realising that I should have got up when you called me first time itself.

    Hello ji, i also kept half karwachot. I didnt eat till 2pm. Reason being thats when i got up yaar, had a big night previously and slept by 7am. Lol. I’m happy for you both yaar. God bless.
