Kab Chale India re?

Current Tune: Yaar Main India Chala - Kitne Door Kitne Paas

So still working with desi travel agents on my tickets. Tomorrow. That’s it, I am going to make my decision. I will call all of the travel agents back again that I think will do something for me and see what they say.

My dream dates (or the dates that I am trying for, however you want to take it) are:

Leave O’Hare (ORD) Airport to Mumbai (BOM): Friday, 24th December, 2004
Leave Mumbai Airport to O’Hare: Sunday, 16th January, 2005

Right now I am waitlisted on Air India for this flight. Maybe good news tomorrow? Well, definitely some news tomorrow.

I am itching to buy my tickets. My parents went to get our tourist visa processing done today. I will then have a 10 year visa for India. :smile:

So wish me luck on having good news tomorrow! If you have any reliable travel agents that might get me a good deal for those dates, then let me know. :roll:

    actually I have a problem too with my ticket going to Delhi in December :irked: I dunno what the travel agent did. I did a booking a long time ago, you will not believe that I made a booking in July I guess … and when I called them few days back, they said, my ticket is in the waiting list, what the …. ? :grumpy: last time I checked my ticket status online, it was confirmed, unbelieveable !!! It is for Thai Airways. I made another booking in Singapore Airlines, it’s more expensive, but at least my ticket on 24 Dec is confirmed, just for my return ticket is still in the waiting list. :sad:

    Fingers crossed for you too Mona! I don’t understand if you had booked your tickets in July (which is quite early and the best way to do it :wink:) then why they toldyou that your tickets are waitlisted? :shock: How can that be? I hope that everything gets straightened out for you. Hope to see you in India. :grin:

    There are many airlines Manpreet but Kuwait Airways is the cheapest then its Air India, then its the rest of the airlines like Lufthansa, Swiss Air, British Airways, KLM, etc. But all of these European airlines are very expensive as I was quoted above $1800. :shock:

    The flight that I am trying for that was written in the post was for $1260, so you can see the difference in price. :wink: If I fly on the 23rd December on Air India the price is $1510 + taxes. Crazy na? :banghead:

    About your query, I don’t think it does ping weblogs.com but I don’t really know. If its a built-in thing in WP, then its possible, otherwise I did not do anything extra for it to ping that site.
