Calling All Delhites!

Dear Delhi Friends,

I am in need of your help. I recently bought on 30th October a gift for my cousin in Delhi from an online company called IndiaGiftHouse. You can read all about what happened with me and my interaction with this company.

Bottom line: I have not heard back from them if they have delivered my pooja thali to my cousin. They have charged me $9.29 for the thali and taken that money from my credit card.

If one of you, or a group of you, could go find out if they really exist at this address:

INDIA GIFT HOUSE
207, Basement floor
Kailash Hills
East of Kailash
New Delhi-110065
India

I am sorry for the hassle but just tell them my name and this order number: #0410300031 and ask them what is the status of this order.

I would greatly appreciate it if this could be done as I am not in Delhi myself. Do comment back and let me know how it went.

This message is basically for Ankur and Manpreet paa ji, because I really don’t know if we have any other Delhi readers (maybe Sushubh, par pata nahi woh Delhi se nikal pada yaa nahi  ).

Thanks! I really do appreciate the help. Yes Ankur, iske liye tumhe treat milega. :rotfl:

Alvida. Jai Mata Di.

Aaaww Ankur. I wish they would have listed a Delhi number, I would have just told you to call them, but absoos, they do not list any phone number.

Khair, let’s hope for the best from Manpreet. Maybe he is not too far.

    Thanks Ankur!

  3. Ankur Raheja says:

so will call them on the next working day… Saturday or Monday

  4. Poonam says:

How did you get their phone numbers??? I didn’t see it on their website.

You are great re! Wakai main kaam kar diya toh treat milni chaiye tumhe.

EOK is in South Delhi. If I was in India, I would have definetly gone to their office.

I always use indiatimes. Their delivery time is pretty fast. They messed up my order just once. The order for Rakhis was delayed, I don’t know if it was their fault or the courier company’s but otherwise they r cool!

BTW am also coming up with an e-commerce site, but it has shipping only in U.S.

  6. Ankur Raheja says:

Because I am a Net Detective too

  7. Poonam says:

How sweet Gaurav. It seems that Ankur is going to call them up. This is the very last time I will be using IndiaGiftHouse’s services.

Thanks for the information about the Indiatimes site. I will definitely try them next time I am going to send something to India.

So you are making an e-commerce site too??? Wow  That is really awesome! If I can be of any service, let me know. Will we be able to send rakhis/bhai dooj gifts and all to people in USA? If that is the case, then that’s useful as well!

You are really talented when it comes to all this website business. Your Bollywood Mantra site is just too good!

Ankur, you are simply the best. Tumse toh kuch bhi nahi chupaa sakte.

  8. Mona says:

oh my gosh, that’s really bad …
I hope Ankur can help you to solve this problem … :grumpy:

Sometimes really dangerous to buy something online, if the company is not a wellknown one.

    *hugsss*

  9. Mona says:

I wish I could do something … hmmm

ahaa ! I have some friends in Delhi too, maybe I can give them the phone numbers and ask them to call and check it out

    Will tell you soon :hyper:

  10. Poonam says:

That’s very nice of you Mona! Hopefully Ankur will be able to help me out!

    Thanks for your help.

  13. Poonam says:

  14. Ankur Raheja says:

    Called IndiaGiftHouse.com on 26933760.

They asked for the Order number and said the Thali was delivered on 03 November and was received by Mr Anil.

  15. Poonam says:

Thanks Ankur for the message. These stupid people (IndiaGiftHouse) should have atleast sent me an email saying that they have sent it! Saale nautanki! :irked: :censored:

Anyway, I guess I will have to find out who this Mr. Anil is. I sent it to my jijaji’s office so hopefully it was just someone that works there.

I appreciate you making the call and the treat is now due.

  16. Ankur Raheja says:

    ‘Nautanki’ :rotfl:

Another treat is due. Gr8

  17. Poonam says:

    Nautanki hi toh hai. :rotfl:

ANOTHER??? What’s the first one??
