Updates, B’day Wishes, and Fascinating People
After the heated discussion on India’s Children a few days ago, I noticed some articles that were in today’s Times of India that shouldn’t go unnoticed. There isn’t much I want to say about the matter, but I think the key point that everyone should remember is that if this matter wouldn’t have been brought out in the open, then actions taken by DPS or this other school wouldn’t have taken place.
Note: I am not saying what difference the action itself is going to make, but its good to see that someone is taking responsibility and making postive strides for a better college/school environment.
In other news…
After the vast number of birthdays and anniversaries in my family & friends, its time that NP.com makes a wish to another indeed good person:
Happy 58th Birthday Sonia Gandhi!
- Sonia Gandhi is the Congress Party President in India, and her party is the current ruling government. She was the wife of late Rajiv Gandhi and daughter-in-law of Indira Gandhi. Even with her Italian background, Sonia is trying to make positive impact in the Congress Party and in India, which is quite admirable.
Last night I was watching the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2004, a Special by Barbara Walters. It was a nice one hour show but really I expected better. Please tell me in today’s America that we have somebody more fascinating than Paris Hilton. That girl gets publicity up the wazoo and really for what? Anyway the others such as Oprah, Donald Trump, Usher, Mel Gibson, Michael Moore, Ken Jennings, Curt Schilling, and the Google Founders (Larry Page and Sergey Brin) were quite interesting. Learned many things that I really didn’t know about them or about their thoughts previously, except for Paris Hilton (waste of time).
The #1 most fascinating person of 2004 was the “architect” behind George W. Bush’s election campaign, Karl Rove. Very interesting. I had no idea who he was until this special. He definitely was fascinating and a good choice to be #1.
Alvida. Jai Mata Di.

It’s glad that at least now they do some actions for morals. Hope more people will expose more … because it’s really important.
Yep honestly, I can’t see the point why people are so excited talking about Paris Hilton. At first, I like her because she is kinda cute although a bit wild
but nowadays, it’s just too much about her.
Thanks for the phone no
I will try to call you when I will be in India yeyyy

It’s good DPS principal is implementing strict measures from the next term
Sonia Gandhi’s birthday cake was 140 KG, which was shown on TV being looted by Congress workers
BTW how do you remember all the Birthdays & Anniversaries
I also remember few of the birthdays, like one is coming up on 15th Decmber, for which I have still to receive the invitation

Very surprised to hear that you like Paris Hilton.
She hit the age of 21 and boom! Everybody was after her! I don’t even think she looks that pretty but she is definitely wild. I don’t think she is much of a role model. The only thing I decent about her is that she is trying to make a living for herself. She is rich and could take money from her parents but has decided that she wants to be “someone” (rich & famous). She has made some wrong choices in her life (a.k.a sex video), and I really don’t find her all that fascinating.
Hey, you are welcome for the number.
Just give me a call after the 26th of December. If you call prior to that, you will have to talk to Neeraj.
I was also happy to hear that action was being taken by DPS, Ankur. Let’s hope that this incident is behind us now.
140 KG? I didn’t know that! That’s just crazy.
Looted by Congress workers?
That figures!
Hmm..every year when the new year starts..i write down my family/friends b’days/anniversaries on a calendar. I have been doing that for so many years that now I have them all remembered.
Aawww..how nice. You don’t need an invitation…you can come any time to the party.

Thanks. I will be there for the party. Just send me the ticket
Hmmm… good way to remember birthdays
Sonia Gandhi cake was like …. each cake was carrying one letter of her name. So 11-12 cakes were kept in queue on a table. I am not sure… whether it was 40 Kg or 140 Kg.
Ya, the congress workers were really
