Feels Like a Saturday…

Posted on December 10th, 2004 by Poonam

Week is almost over — I am very happy but have a busy weekend to look forward to. What am I going to do, you may ask?

Shopping

Pants for Rishabh & Gautam Bought 12/11
Shirt/Pants for Neeraj Bought 12/11
Webcam for Neeraj?
Camera batteries for Mumma
Xmas gifts for Beth and Diane/Dan
Xmas present for Bhayia

Will be shooting out of “work” early today (hey, you can do that when you are working from home  ). Hopefully some or most of this shopping I will be able to cross off when I return tonight.

To-Do @ Home

Iron clothes
Laundry
Hook up the old computer and burn CDs
Clean my room (aargh! a mess!)
Clean the kitchen
mop the floor
Pack my bags:!: - Started on 12/17

Talking to Neeraj tonight on the net & phone. Because its so slow @ his office these days, he doesn’t have to work on the weekends, so we are taking full advantage of that.

Bhayia is going to go see Ocean’s Twelve tomorrow with the gang (Vishal, Nishant, Pratik, and Anshu). I am not going as I haven’t seen the first one, Ocean’s Eleven. No problem there, I have no interest in English movies anyway. Then the gang is coming over on Saturday night to play cards and dinner. I must remember to take photos with the gang tomorrow. **don’t forget**

Five more days until another celebration.

Alvida. Jai Mata Di.

Neeru, I have finally bought your shirt & pants combo. It was a great deal re! I was able to buy your dress shirt, your dress pants, and Gautam’s jeans all for $30! Isn’t that great? Main meri Ma par gayi hoon on finding good deals. :rotfl:

Anyway because it is a surprise, I shall not show you ahead of time what the shirt/pants combo looks like. You shall have to wait for your b’day. :rotfl:

Bahut kuch karne ka hai my love. Today only the first two shopping things have been finished. Will have to work harder to get some of the To-Do @ Home stuff to get accomplished.

You also have a busy day today as you must get this Internet setup and then must see that client for a potential project opportunity. Neeraj will be building a website for someone, if it all works out. So best of luck and do well on that!

We shall watch Ocean’s Eleven this trip, but don’t konw about the other English movies as we have to see Veer Zaara and Swades as well. :eyebrow:  :hyper:

I was able to buy your dress shirt, your dress pants, and Gautam?s jeans all for $30! Isn?t that great?

Did u loot the store and gave the security guard $30.00? I can’t expect 3 things in $ 30.00

  5. Kunal Says:

wow… difficult to get a decent stuff in india for that price… Poonam seriously did u do what gaurav said :P hehe
    hv a fun weekend !

  6. Poonam Says:
No interruption Ashwin. Tension nahi karne ka. The excitement increases as the days are lessened. Thanks for the good wishes!

Don’t worry Gaurav, I did not loot the store or give anything to the guard. Let’s just say that I am one good shopper (Mumma par gayi hoon  ). So how did I get three name branded clothes for $30? I went to this very well known store, Sears, and had received a coupon that if I bought $50 then I would get $20 off. So Neeraj’s dress shirt was $10, his dress pants and Gautam’s jeans were both $20 each. So it worked out just perfectly, and I think that I got a great deal.

Isko kehte hain a smart shopper.

You just have to find where the deals are Kunal, even Neeraj has done some good shopping in Bombay. Gotten good shirt/pants combo for Rs. 1500.

  7. Chetan Says:
