Last 7 Days

Seven days left. Can you believe it???? Next Monday I will be on a plane back to the USA. These last few days have been absolutely amazing.

Met Kunal and Manpreet on Saturday for lunch in Bandra. We went to Only Parathas on Linking Road. Manpreet had said that he is coming straight from Pune so first we had planned to meet @ 1.30 pm. But because he said that he wasn’t sure what time he might get to Bandra we changed to 2 pm. Manpreet paa jee got there before even us Mumbaites!

It was a great time! It was so much fun sitting with them and talking. Bahut seedhe dono lage…pata nahi hamare aage aaise the..yaa phir wakai main seedhe hain..

Today Neeraj is back in the office after a weekend of enjoyment. Bandra, Elephanta Caves, Andheri, Colaba, and Churchgate ghoom choom ke bahut bindaas enjoy kiya hai humne. Last night we ate at Golden Gate at Colaba. I have bought chudiyaan (bangles) and sunglasses from there (very cheap re). I was also watching at how all the firangis (foreigners) were being looted there. My god. What a scene! I wanted to go up to them and tell them to be careful, but khair I let it go. .

Today my cousin Chandni and I went to sign up for cooking classes at a nearby school called Stree Mandel. We were going to sign for Chinese, Special Sandwiches, and Dhaba Style Khana. Chinese class was suppose to start today at 1.30 pm. We got there at 1.20 pm, registered, and were asked to wait. It became 2 pm and no class had started. Finally the teacher said that we must have atleast 7 students and there were only three students (Chandni, myself, and one other girl), so she said do you mind if we do this class tomorrow. Well Neeraj has a holiday tomorrow and the timings are 1.30-3 so I said yaar ke I can’t do it. Bache koi din baaki hai..I can’t waste it on anything else…other than my dear Neeraj. So I told Chandni that she can do that class. We came all the way for the class and then we couldn’t attend. But I guess yehi hai mera India.

But that’s it for now. My time at the cyber cafe is ending as well. Hope to see Neeraj tonight.
