Guess what? CD #2 is done!
Whoo Hoo!
Manpreet and Kunal have been added to Our Photos, Friends section.
After my most horrible experience with Air India, I will never, I mean never travel with them ever in life.
Not only I but neither anyone in my family will travel with this airline. If I have to spend $400 extra to go on Lufthansa or British Airways, let me tell you, its worth it.
Read this article that was found in the Hindustan Times today about what happened in Mumbai with Air India officials. When passengers make the airline officials sit so that the passengers can abuse them, that’s when Air India should get a C-L-U-E.
IT Salaries in India are suppose to go up this year. Always good for IT workers but its necessary to also think that the people from this industry are moving up the ladder in means of living luxuriously. Quality of life goes down when people have too much money, its just something that needs to be noted.
Aishwarya Rai will be a guest on the David Letterman show tonight, February 8.. That will be interesting to see how that goes.
Aishwarya was on another US show, 60 minutes, on January 2nd, and from the reports, she didn’t really dazzle the US audience. Is she losing her charm??
Negar Khan is asked to leave India, um, can you take Mallaika and Payal Rathogi with you back to Norway?
And along with that…this just makes me sick.
Karan Johar, you have lost your touch….
Your new film nahi chalne wali….and one word why: Mallaika.
Happy Anniversary to Mitu Didi and Ajay Jijaji!
Lastly, my dear Mumma is coming back to USA in less than one week!!!!
I can’t wait to see her!
Alvida. Jai Mata Di.
You are right Poonam but I still prefer Indian Airlines and thats be cause of the food
. I am much comfortable with the food given on Indian Airlines than in Lufthansa or Singapore Airlines. But last year when I was flying by Singapore Airlines, they had Indian menu also and that cheered me up.
Thanks for updating about Aish on Letterman. I would have missed it , had u not posted abt it. Mallika is sick. She absolutely has no talent even worse than Bipasa Basu (i apologize from her fans).
hey poonam! Agreed, and totally agreed with you. I too, actually even those I knew have had horrific experiences with Air India. I say I would rather row across the ocean..;) Also, am gonna watch the David Letterman tonight..shall be interesting. Although I thought Aishwarya giggled too much on the 60 Minutes show on CBS. Also..I too am in the US of A and like you the love of my life is in India which is why I said will have to go through the same ordeal you are going through pretty soon. Accept in your case parents have given the green signal..in mine my parents havetn yet
butt soon:yes: and LOL your comment on Negar Khan is hilarious. One more thing…my mom just got back from India after a month too :) so I feel ya..
oopps spell error above accept = except
Yeah…I am looking forward to seeing Aishwarya on Letterman tonight:hyper: Hopefully she won’t act ‘dumb’ like she did on 60 Minutes:yes:
I am assuming you are vegetarian Pramod, and if I am wrong then well, disregard my next point.
You can order Asian Vegetarian food on different airlines such as Lufthansa and British Airways. Its as good, or even better, than Air India. Air India has the worse seats because they of course, is a company ran by Indians that will pack their customers in like sardines just so that they can make more $$. Not one air hostess will ever smile @ you on the flight or make you feel like they really care. You should see the service that British Airways provides their economy class passengers, its absolutely wonderful! Anyway, its your choice but if you are only choosing this airline because of the food, I think you should reconsider.
Yay!
My post has fulfilled its duty today by informing one person about the news!
Funny comment about Bipasha.
My family calls her “Jaws”.
I just emailed you Kaush. Sorry i couldn’t resist and believe me, I have never done that before.
Anyway, I hope you stick up for what is right and not travel Air India again either! The more they suck is in, the less chance their will ever improve themselves! Good to hear that you are from the US as well. Now that you have told me so much in this comment, I had to find out more, hence the email. i hope to hear from you soon.
I was in india when Aishwarya was on 60 Minutes but i just read the review on the Internet. Just didn’t seem that she did really well, and its possible because of the giggles.
Yep we will just have to see how she does tonight.
I hate Negar, Mallaika, and Payal. These girls need to learn um, first of all, self-esteem. Let me tell you before a guy goes ahead and says that I am jealous, you should rethink that thought because these girls have nothing but a body…no brain. So there is no reason to be jealous and in fact I find them disgusting more than a model to be jealous about. Phew..I am on a roll tonight.
Your mother just got back from India? Wow we have more in common than I ever thought…and all this from one comment.
i can’t wait to see my mother..even though its just been three weeks since i saw last but it seems like a decade!
Hope to hear from ya soon!
Hmm we will see how she does Mannat. I don’t know how she is going to react with David Letterman. He’s a bit goofy, and he might ask some questions that she might not expect. Who knows!
Only tonight will tell.
Let’s see how Aishwarya does tonight. Who knows!
Ek chitti aapke naam bheji hain
Itni saari news.. hmm..
Well, first of all where are my copies of Cd 1 and Cd 2???
Secondly, i agree with you, why KJ has Mallika in his/her ;) next movie.. maybe he wants to get the masses in the theatre to watch his/her movie :P
Yup, Air India is horrible.. Once I had travelled on it from Mumbai to Delhi (night flight).. it really sucked.. Even the likes of our domestic airlines – Jet & Sahara are better than that!!
And talking about IT salaries… if the revenues of top indian companies are increasing by an average of 45-50%.. why are they increasing salaries only by 10-15%?
Thanks Kaush
. Mil bhi gayi aur jawaab bhi deh diya.
Well Manpreete, tusi ko bhi wohi jawaab milega jo maine Ankur ko diya…Neeraj aur meri shaadi par milegi CD 1 and CD 2.
Karan Johar needs to rethink his strategy if in case that is strategy…
Yep the link that I sent abt. Air India was a flight from Mumbai to Delhi that was delayed 7 hours. Read it if you get a chance…quite interesting.
Do you believe that because Indian companies are increasing revenue by 50% the only place they can put it is in people’s pockets??? I don’t believe that at all and that’s the difference between American and Indian companies. American companies will provide you with better benefits and more paid days off than putting that extra dollar in your pocket, if needed. They will give you a well balanced salary and maybe a bonus but will provide you with added benefits that will make a difference in your life that maybe a measly dollar will not do. Maybe Indian companies should think about doing things like that than just raising salaries.
IT professionals are doing well for the standards they were in 3 years ago. I know this because I know how much Neeraj is making and how much more he could make if he wanted to make a switch today to a different company. If you are a bachelor making 6-8 lacs per year, then you are living well. By the time you are married, you will be making somewhere in the double digits or close near it. Don’t you think by then maybe money is not what he is looking for? He could use more time off or even investment benefits? Or maybe retirement benefits? That’s the point that I am making…IT professionals are getting to a point that they can live lavishly..give them something more!
Agar Shaadi pe CDs nahin mili, to main aur Manpreet protest kardege… like Air India’s passenger

hiiii I miss reading your blog so much … it has been quite busy these few days plus a lot of holidays so I didn’t login to the internet
wahh I wish I could watch David Letterman show here
I think it will be very interesting, seeing Ash is being interviewed in US show
And I wanna see David’s reaction when he meets Ash. Because he is always funny
hmm I don’t think I will get my salary raised soon
Yes I agree with you … I never tried Air India but by reading your experience, I think I will think twice to take Air India. Singapore Airlines and Emirates are always my favourites
Poonam…thanks for sending me the password to see the pics:grin:. You both make a great couple. I am really impressed by your upbringing. I recently got married and my husband & I am always concerend about how we will keep our kids close to the Indian culture in this country:?: (we have been here for 10 years). But people like you give us some hope:hyper:. Your parent’s did a great job and you should be proud of them.
Haan karna Ankur. No tension.
Thanks Govind. Let me know what songs you want via email.
Romantic English songs?
You know Kunal that I don’t listen to English songs.
It just doesn’t interest me at all. But thanks for the offer.
Nice to see you here Pranshu.
I hope that you don’t have any more problems with your network admin and our site.
Will definitely check out the Hum Tum blog. The India trip was fantastic as I spent the majority of the time with Neeraj.
It couldn’t have gotten any better (unless if hamari shaadi ho gayi hoti tab
).
Hello Ms. Priya. Tere ko maine aaj mail kar diya.
Intersting Aaina. Happen to know the date for the Oprah show??
Aaww Mona. I have been wondering where you have been.
Now I know that you are enjoying with your holidays or busy at work.
Let me see if I can find a link to the Aishwarya interview on David’s show on the net. If I find it I will post it so you will be able to see it.
Emirates is good??
I have heard about it but have never been. Do let me know.
Thanks for the kind words Mannat.
I do give my upbringing credit to my parents. Really its important to remember our Indian values and culture in order to feel that you are bringing up your kids the Indian way in the USA. For instance, my parents always emphasized language at home, that’s why we are lucky enough to not only know Hindi but Punjabi (which is spoken by my Mumma’s family) and Gujrati (spoken by my Papa’s family). So I think it really depends on the parents how and what they want to emphasize on their children. If you stay Indian, so will your kids.
Poonam, I really want you to listen those three english recommended by Kunal:smile: If you are not going to do that, I am going to do for sure:rotfl: You know I like some of the good romantic english songs like Lady in Red.. will try Kunal’s choice too.:rotfl:
Lady in red… goood goood goood ROMANTIC SONG !!! poooooooooonam !!! u hv to listen to just 4 english songs cmon just 15 min thats all… n they are such kewl songs…
Ok Kunal.
