Sawaal, Jawaab, Sawaal, Jawaab…

Current Dialogue - “Sawaal jawaab sawaal jawaab….shhhh…lambiii khamoshi” - Andaz Apna Apna

So I went blog hopping and saw a nice idea that even I wanted to try. So because there are no other big news for today, so seems like a good day to it.

You get to ask Neeraj and myself any 3 questions (they were doing 5, but 3 is better  ) , and we shall answer them no matter how personal or random they are.

You can ask either of us the questions, and we shall answer honestly and answer all of them.

Then once you ask me, you should put the same thing in your journal, and the game is reversed. Sounds like fun eh?

So this is your chance, you might not get a golden opportunity like this ever again  (most likely you won’t  ), so ask any question that you want.

Alvida. Jai Mata Di.

  1. Mannat Says:

Oh, I wish I had a journal too…I would have asked three questions as well:lol:
But since I don’t have my persoanl blog, and I am still new here, I will leave it to the other people to ask, while I read:hyper:

  2. Poonam Says:
There is no requirement of having a personal journal Mannat dear. You can ask as well, if you want.
  3. Mona Says:

    1. Will you against your family if they don’t agree that you are together with someone whom you love ?

    2. Do you want to be a career woman or house-wife and why ?

    3. What do you think about “blog” ?

  4. Poonam Says:
Great questions Mona dear. Here are the answers:

    1. Yes, if my parents would have not agreed to my marrying Neeraj, then we would still get married. We had decided early in our relationship what we would do in this situation. We both did not want to be in the situation where one of our parents would not agree, but yes our love is more powerful. We would leave our respected families for a temporary time, get married, and then go back to our families.

    2. When Neeraj and I discussed about this question, I had told him flat out that I don’t mind being a house wife. I knew within me that I had the talent to make a difference in the world, and I guess Neeraj saw it too because he insisted that I would have a career. Now I am happy that he pushed me in that path. I have no regrets.

    3. I don’t like this word, “blog”, because it sounds so funny. :rotfl: I like the word “weblog” better. But I think blog has taken over the Internet world.

  5. kaush Says:

Agar maine kuch pucha toh main toh fas jaungi ki apni blog pe  lekin seriously ab mujhe rona aa hi jaayega..you and Neeraj are SO much similar to this boy and girl I know  Shall be posting my questions up soon…and yes I haven’t commented that old post again…shall email you about that soon:)

  6. Manpreet Says:

Ahem.. asking questions is fine.. but answering them looks a little bit tricky.. ;)

Anyway, I will take the risk:-

    1) From your blog, its clear that you love India. But, why do you want to stay in US? I don?t think the reason is money, ?coz you can earn that kind of money here in India as well. Actually, I?ve seen plenty of my foreign settled relatives always saying that India rocks.. India is great.. and what not.. but I?ve never heard them saying that they want to settle in India!!
    2) What is that one word that can describe both of you?
    3) When are you sending me my copies of that music CDs? ;) (I know you?ve answered this question before, but just wanted to put up this to remind you :P)

  7. dotMSB.com v2.0 Says:

    Time for Some Questions!
Today, Poonam started a new blog game - Sawal Jawab Sawal Jawab!

    How to Play

You can ask me any 3 questions
I will have to answer them no matter how personal, illogical, weird, embarrasing, random they are

    Condition

    Then once you ask me…

  8. Mannat Says:

    1. What if the circumstances don’t allow you to go back to India and you end up spending the rest of you life here in States (you know anything could happen!):???:
    2. Where do you plan to go for your honeymooon (this is a simple one)
    3. If I have read your story correctly, you guys met over the Internet (by sheer luck - I would guess). When did Neeraj ‘propose’ to you? I mean was it after you guys actually met, or was it before that?

  9. priya Says:

Ok…i shall ask 3 ques but cant put any such option open for all to ask me such ques…but u can:wave: so i shall give u the answers personally…chalega na…

1.do u and Neeraj ever have fights or arguments?
2.share the reason for the last fight u had?
3.what is the lovey name each of u has kept for the other one…?

  10. Chetan Says:

Andaz.. was one hilarious movie :rotfl:. Btw, When are you guys upgrading to 1.5?

  11. Poonam Says:
Aaaww Kaush….glad to hear abt. the similiarities with that “boy & girl”. Post the questions and then post this post on your blog so i can ask the grueling questions.

Toh Manpreete, maine dekha ke tune bhi apna blog par rakha. Good . Then I also saw what you wrote to Ankur on your website, so I decided that I will answer your questions first, and then ask you what I want.

    1) Neeraj and I have always wanted to settle in India, at the end. Right now the plan is that he shall come to the US so that we can do our MBA and make some good money. The end plan is that we both want to open an IT company in India, so we shall settle there. Plus, Neeraj’s family is settled in India, and so because his family can’t just all shift to US, it became ideal for us to be settled in India. I think that after the many comforts of the US, India only becomes a good place to visit for most NRIs. But for me, India will always be home.
    2) Dedicated. We are dedicated to each other and to everything that we want to do in life.
    3) On Neeraj and my wedding day is when you will get the CDs. Aana jarur.

  12. Poonam Says:
Good to see Mannat that you changed your mind and decided to ask some questions.

    1. If it happens that we have to stay in the US (which I don’t think will happen) then we will definitely make the best out of it. My family is here, my parents and brother, so it will definitely be great to be near them. It would be Neeraj that I would really worry about because his family would then be so far. So we would have to work it out. But I know for a fact that if Neeraj and I are together, we will be happy wherever we stay.
    2. Paris, France, the city of love.
    3. Neeraj proposed in April 2001. At that time, we were both in college, and we would talk on the phone and Internet, but we had not met yet in person.

Hello Priya dear , I will be sending you a set of three questions via email for you to answer. Until then, here are the answers to your questions:

1.Neeraj and I do have arguments, of course , just like every other normal couple. It definitely keeps the sparks going (from what I have heard from other couples :rotfl: ). We have never had a major fight ever where we stopped talking to each other for any period of time. We have small little arguments where we get upset on the phone, and then 10 mins later we are back to normal helping each other understand each other’s thoughts.
    2. Last argument was about getting married. We are both ready to get married, and we are just frustrated that we are waiting for someone else’s marriage for us to be together. I think it hurts us more than anything else because its something that we both want.
3.You had some great questions Priya. The nicknames we have for each other is basically Neeraj calls me “bacchu”. I do the same sometimes. Otherwise the usual that I think couples have like “meri jaan” or “sweetu”. I tend to call Neeraj “neeru” more often than not, and he tends to call me “poonu” or
“poona”. But our unique name for each other would definitely be “bacchu”.

Yes you are right Chetan that Andaz Apna Apna is one of the best movies of all time. I can watch it at any time in any mood. NP.com will upgrade to 1.5 once we have a cute little header.

  13. Mona Says:

    Very interesting :hyper:
I was really surprised reading your answer that you and Neeraj have seen each others before both of you met, because it’s exactly what happened with me and Suhadi hahahaha :rotfl: We were only chatting, email, and talking on the phone as well, we never know when and where we will meet our life partner, isn’t it ?

  14. abhi Says:

my turn, my turn, okay here goes:

    1. what one big difference do you see between USA and India?

    2. place(s) most visited?

    3. which is your favorite mode of transport: plane, car, bus or train?

  15. Poonam Says:
It sure is amazing Mona. You just don’t know where love will find you.

Now the answers to your questions, Abhi.

    1. Biggest different between US and India is the corruption that you will find in India. When you have to pay someone to get a job done, its quite disturbing for one that is not used to it.

    2. I have visited India the most. Second in the world would have to be Frankfurt, Germany. Within the United States, I have visited Florida the most.

    3. Car — if it is a nice one. Otherwise plane.
