Is it sentences from Hero ? :eyebrow:

  2. shradha Says:

ek tha gul..ek thi bulbul …

  3. Poonam Says:
Yep they are lines from that movie Mona. If you remember during towards the very end, Rajpal Yadav (he was also in Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon) was beating up Amrish Puri (the Pakistani terrorist) and that’s when he says those lines. They have just stuck in my mind since I heard them.

My mother liked the movie..i dunno..i have never seen the whole thing.

    Well put Shradha.

  4. Manpreet Says:

Didn’t liked this movie at all.. These days, Sunny Deol keeps doing the same kind of roles again and again.. all those pak bashing stuff.. :???:

but, its hightime ppl stop taking pak bash films.. it’ll further worsen our relationships with them….

  9. Neeraj Tiwari Says:

    hi Poonam,
Ya I have seen this movie. As they shooted this movie in Switzerland and showed as Canada. In one place it was very clear that it is not Canada. Do u remember that scene. Guess it  and if you can get the scene tell me otherwise I will write in next reply.
I have seen this movie 3-4 times and Liked the songs and shooting was done in Jungfrojo (Highest point in Switzerland) so I cant miss this movie.
Dialogues was very good and fit for the Pakistan

  11. Tarun Says:

ha ha ha ha……aur Galtiyon ka betaj badashah pakistan…..:rotfl:

  12. rash Says:

I’ve seen this movie in bits and pieces and it’s really bad.
And about Sunny Deol… that guy has done soooo much harm to the indo-pak relationship. He’s supported dialogues like these and much worse in sooo many movies and I think that by doing so he’s actually not being patriotic to the country at all.
Indians should realise that the pakistani movie industry barely exists. They live on bollywood movies. The average pakistani loves Shah Rukh Khan as much as the average Indian does. When they see and hear dialogues like these in the movies, obviously there is a feeling of animosity. Pakistanis and Indians both have several misconceptions about each other. Just 5 decades back we were the same people… today divided by a few imaginary lines we have become sooo divided, and the media hasn’t helped much until recently.
We should make more movies which promote a positive relationship between India and Pakistan. Many pakistanis still have part of their families living in India… the bond was always there… it just has to be strengthened.
And yea Punnu I strongly feel that the above quote is not right at all. :irked:

  13. Neeraj Tiwari Says:

I Think it will be really nice to look the picture carefully. Movie never comments on normal Pakistani people, its just comments how the burocrates siting there and playing the game behind door:censored:
Movie is just a expression and indian government cant do any things their own. I don’t feel that movie want to harm India-Pakistan relation. Never…
When these comments were passed, it was meant to their burocrates not to the normal people. We should be patriotic but not to the compromised level and why should we.
I agree that we should make movie which bring the two country together but whats wrong to show that some of their country man dont want to do that.
The hero movie was justify after kargil attack, which was partially accepted by their current president.
True is always bitter but somehow we have to accept that. Its my personal view and through Poonam blog I am just expressing. Please dont mind if any one feel bad about my comments.

  14. Poonam Says:
Sunny Deol is a pretty good actor if he wants to be, in my opinion, Manpreet. But yes, he repeats his roles quite a bit. I just really like this dialogue.

Yep Kunal, you are right.

Baat toh sahi hai Govind. My family really liked this movie, but I have not seen the whole movie.

I think that Prasad these lines are not really that patriotic because they are not favouring either country…in fact that it is saying that Pakistan has made many mistakes and India has made mistakes by forgiving them. So it seems that you think that movies are very influential to real life? Bollywood just goes through spurts first it was family dramas, then it was war movies, and now married women having affairs.

Haan Priya…maine bhi poori nahi dekhi hai par tu dekhna.

I think I know what scene you are talking about Neeraj Tiwari, towards the end of the movie? You are most welcome on regards to your website.

He recently hasn’t done that many good films Puneet, but less his films more this dialogue I like.

    You got it Tarun.

    Oh dear Rashu…humne is baare main kal baat ki thi..I hope I made my point more clear. :smile: You have made good points but its important to remember that this dialogue is not favouring either country. :smile;

I totally agree with you Neeraj Tiwari. Good point. This has nothing to do with the people of Pakistan, but those who make the decisions to attack our embassy or attack us in general. Perfectly said.

  15. Deepak Jeswal Says:

    good one!

incidentally, in the translation u can used the word “satan” instead of devil … will rhyme with “human” in the first line

left a few comments on ur prev posts below!

  16. Deepak Jeswal Says:

I hv seen this movie in the halls…technically very polished film, and racy and pacy one… and i liked the song also “dil mein hai pyaar tera, hothon pe gitwa”

  17. Ashwin Says:

    hmm.interesting dialogue there :).

its alright if these movies and their dialogues stop with pointing out the flaws in the bureaucracy and the politics….but they dont stop with that..we need to hear sunny deol downright abusing and getting all hysteric and loud vis-a-vis that country.which i think can be toned down a bit.

    neways..how have u been buddy? :)

  18. priya Says:

    UPDATE
    UPDATE
    UPDATE
    CHORUS MEIN

  19. shradha Says:

    i second priya on that … UPDATE:yes:

  20. Gaurav Says:

I don’t have much against Pakistan ….but ofcourse in Cricket.

Rash - They live on bollywood movies. The average pakistani loves Shah Rukh Khan as much as the average Indian does.

    Actually it should have been:

They live on pirated bollywood movies.

Pakistan and U.A.E. are killing Bollywood.

What about Amitabh Bachchan? I really don’t know the truth, but I have read a lot of stuff on forums, where people say why does Shahrukh Always does hindu roles….he should be muslim in a role.

Why did Sanjay Khan (in Janasheen) depicted the bad guy as a musilm?

These are somethings which I don’t even think about watching a movie…..most of the Indian actors are muslims….so what

On the other hand, I come across lot of Pakistanis at my univ, my sites and other places and I find most of them to be open minded, its just some narrow minded Pakistani extremists and some extremists Hindus who are into all this stuff.

I strongly oppose RSS’ (not Really Simple Syndication but Rashtriya Sevak Sangh) policies and way of conduct.

We don’t need a Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, neither we need a Ram Mandir. We need a School/Hospital/Housing Complex.

  21. Neeraj Tiwari Says:

    Hi,
I think before commenting to RSS, person should join and learn what they want. Its not a good idea to say that RSS people are bad. I have been their in that organization without any problem. U must be surprise that I joined one university (jamia humdard, Delhi)Muslim university still living in RSS office (for a small period).
I know them very close, at least not through paper or by news channel.
Its good that we dont need mandir masjid and we need a school/hospital/housing complex but now a days they (school/hospital/housing complex)
are also become a part of business and any thing which meant as business cant serve a good society.
So think what we really wants.

  22. Poonam Says:
Yes that’s true Deepak, but satan is devil, almost like synonyms…satan is a more religious term than a general english term.

i will look at your other comments as well.

i have not seen the whole movie…but i just really like this dialogue that was said. I also like the song that you mentioned.

Interesting thought Ashwin. I think you are saying that Sunny Deol goes overboard with this Pakistan bashing..and at times that is true..maybe more true in Maa Tujhe Salaam? :eyebrow: Not sure. I think sometimes to get your point across you have to push it, hence it seems that he is going overboard.

Rest with me is fine…will update about what’s happening and why it has been taking me so long to update soon.

Update ho gaya Priya dear, ab comment karo. Is baar Neeraj ne likha hai. :hyper:

Finally we have updated Shradha. Hope to see your comment as well.

Interesting thoughts Gaurav, in which, most I don’t agree with. When I was talking with Rashu about this topic, she had said the same thing that you said about the average Pakistani loving SRK as much as the average Indian. In fact that was her argument.

You have gone a bit on a tangent with your comment but its necessary to know that this dialogue is not bashing Pakistan because it is also not favoring India either. This dialogue is also not about the average Pakistani. Its more on the government and or those people who have perpetrated the attacks on India.

We do need a mandir/masjid along with schools/hospitals..etc. I totally disagree with your statement there. We are losing our faiths much quicker than anything in this Kal Yug. You shouldn’t burn down any other faith’s place of worship and you should not tear it down and make other things such as schools/hospitals. We need both, not just one.

I don’t have much knowledge on RSS, so i can’t comment on that Neeraj Tiwari. Nice thoughts.

  23. Ankur Raheja Says:

    Great:!:

It is a good moral booster for Indian Cricket Team specially before Indo-Pak Matches

  24. Nupur Says:

 OK…. someone has been doing a lot of thinking! eh..??!

    lol! @Priya!!

  25. Poonam Says:
    You got it Nupur.
