Hi…Belated Holi Wishes to both of you ( sorry, was away on a trip to India, so couldnt wish earlier).

Ever listened to a song and felt that it was written just for you? Which song is it?——> Aah so many songs ! Recently heard this beautiful Lataji number “pyaar kya hota hai samjhaye koi, banke gham-khaar toh aaye koi” from an old film Ek Kali Muskaayee…
Ever wanted to sleep all day but knew that it just wasn’t going to happen?———-> Well, strangely was able to fulfill this wish when in India this time… waise, kai baar hota hai … even now i wish i didnt hv to go for work and cud tuck it in (the weather is also beautiful here today)

Ever felt that someone was staring at you, but you weren’t staring back? —-> Yes, and i always feel uncomfortable … making eye contact is not easy for me anyways…

Also read ur Zee Cine Awards post…had seen the show partially when in India … once again, the music category had me too angered to think about the show objectively. The music of Veer Zaara was not there in the nominations even …which was very sad! Since all the awards have gone to Anu Mallik for Mai Hoon Na, I find it really strange!
And yes, finally get to ’see’ you both :) You make a great couple!

happens all the friggin time. Once in a while I do give in to temptation… but for the most part of it I just go ahead with the misery called life.

oh yea… all the time. I just know that it will be better than today and I WON’T be a cat lady. DO you know what a cat lady is?!?! cat ladies are those unmarried, old, crabby ladies who live in old dingy houses and have dozens of cats to keep them company.

Yea… there are times when someone is staring at me… sometimes I do stare back but sometimes I just move along or look around and then look back at them suddenly…lol. Once I was talking during assembly in school… and this really mean teacher started giving me the look. I stared back… adamantly at that. Later on I was called and given a really long long lecture… also she made my life hell for the next two years… and it was all because I stared back at her.

- Yes, I wrote it in the diary and I talked with someone else whom I know from chatting so I never met that person before. I think sometimes it’s easier to share a secret with someone whom you never met

- Yeah especially when I was sad

Now to Mona and Manpreet’s questions.
1. Ever think that how it will be if both of you never met ? What will happen ?
Great question Mona dear.
We both had discussed this but its hard to think about what life would be without meeting each other. I definitely know that I would not be where I am today, and maybe my aim in life would have been different at this age. I think Neeraj and I have helped shape each other’s future so much that priorities would have been different if we would have not met. I know that I would have been working by now, but I don’t know what I would have done with the rest of my life. I just know that I am glad to have Neeraj in my life today. 
2. Ever think that how if you born not as Indian ? what you want to be and why ?
I have thought about this when I was a kid. The reason behind this was because I used to be harassed as a kid in grade school because I was the only non-American in my class. So the other kids didn’t understand why I wasn’t like them. One day I came home crying, and my dear Mumma sat me down. I had told her what had happened,and she explained to me lovingly why we are here, what we are doing, and who we are. She told me to be proud of my background and not to let any kid bother me. That changed my life, and today I am more proud of being Indian than ever before!
Now to Manpreet’s questions.
Ever got very angry with Neeraj? If yes, why and when?
:rotfl:. Good question.
Like every other miya-biwi or miya-biwi to-be :wink:. I do get angry with Neeraj and vice versa. Its usually about the stupidest things because never have we had a major fight in our five years that we have been together. We both can never put the phone down and still be unhappy, so we get everything figured out, be happy, and then hang up the phone (no matter how long it takes 
). So the last time I got angry with Neeraj was two days ago now, and I was in a great mood when i called him at my night (his morning) to wake him up. I was asking him silly questions, and he was giving me any answers. So finally I got upset with him…basic naraazgi…and then it took him a good 45 mins to get me back to normal. 
Ever thought that Delhi is better city than Mumbai?

When i was young I used to like Delhi (back when i visited in 1990), but I have always like Mumbai better because I seemed to enjoy more there. There was always something we would be doing where in Delhi it wasn’t the same. Mumbai we would go to Essel World or this movie theatre, or another place where in Delhi it would be Connaught Place, and that would be the only place we would go. Or once we went to Qutab Minar but it just didn’t seem as fun as Mumbai.
Now that I have gone to both places in the past 4 yrs, I find Mumbai tons better than Delhi. You know the reasons. But now my new love in India is becoming my sasural-to-be, Jaipur.

o ya i had a secret n thank god i didnt tell it to that person would hv ruined a hell lot… phew for once keeping my mouth shut paid off
hmmm song… dont remember ne song at the mmt (waaaaaaah made me realise again that i hv lost my entire collection !) o there was this song called Electric Dreams which was sthg rt for me ages back but not nemore…
25years !!! hmmm abs no idea…
o i want to jet across continents all the time !!! damn all my frnds are in US or AUS !!! o i would rather hv the “beam me up scotty” POD so i can just go newhere i want in a jiffy ! that would be awesome !!!

Yes yes yes.that too many times..this one time..we were planning a trip to DC and driving up there and i was thinking..i wish i had a jet and i could just cruz to India for the weekend…would be nice no?
