Family Weekend Going Well!
Time flies when you are with your family.
My parents came Thursday night around 7 pm and Suraj, my brother, came on Friday night around 10 pm to my chota sa ghar here in Manchester, NH.
Because I didn’t have to work on Friday, my parents and I got up early and took the hike north towards the state of Maine. We went to the very eastern tip of the United States, took photos in front of the lighthouse, and touched the Atlantic Ocean.
Brrrrrr — cold.
Then yesterday we spent the full day in Boston. It was raining
so we decided to first go to the John F. Kennedy Library where we could learn more about JFK and his family. It was an amazing museum. Then the rain sort of let up so we went to downtown Boston, went shopping @ the Prudential Center, then took the train to the Heart of Boston.
Tons of photos and video but because I don’t have my digital camera cord, I can’t put it up until I get home.
Bhayia is going back to Morton today as he has to go to work tomorrow. We are going to go to Hampton Beach today — which is close enough that we will make it back for his flight.
Parents will be with me until mid afternoon Tuesday.
Its great having them here — just the feeling that I can see them is great. Then Thursday I will be going back home.
This week just worked out great!
Sab log fool ka phool ban gaye the on April Fools thanks to the one and only MBBS.
I just want to say that Govind said it right on his blog, that we have really become good friends and have started to care for each other like friends do. It would have been sad if Manpreet would have stopped blogging (which I still do hope doesn’t happen anytime soon
), and it just shows how many people out there really care and read what you (in general) have to say.
Keep in mind the next time you think about stop blogging — I know I will.

yeah..it’s always great to be with the family. You realize how important your family is for you once you start living away from them.
Anyways, enjoy your time together:smile:

Aaww Govind..it is hard being so far away from your loved ones, I know.
Even though I am fortunate to have my family in the same country, it is still very nice to see them for more than just two days.
The time we have spent has been great and will enjoy the last full day tomorrow as well.
You said it right Mannat.

You are lucky… Poonam… You atleast get a chance to see your folks every weekend. And, here I wait for weeks, and months to meet my family =(
And, looks like I would be staying away from them for atleast another couple of years… :’(

Yep I am lucky to have my parents nearby, but then again I am unlucky as well….Neeraj is far away. In that case, you are lucky to have your sweetheart close by.
