It is Approved!!!!!!!

Because Neeraj is asleep, and he wasn’t feeling well today, I can’t call him up to tell him the good news. :sad:

But because you all are like my extended family — here it is for you. :smile: :hyper: I am just too excited.

This is the second most awaited day in my life (first being our marriage of course :grin: ).

Here is the full email that I got 2 minutes ago :grin: :

Yes my friends. My dear Neeraj’s K1 Fiance Visa HAS BEEN APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!

The excitement is just overwhelming. I want to call him right now, but I know he should sleep. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Next Steps:

I will get that approval petition or whatever that they are going to send. Then Neeraj will get an interview date in Mumbai. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Thanks to everyone who gave us their blessings and good words! They are all paying off right now! :smile: :grin:

My excitement is overwhelming (have I already mentioned that? :rotfl: :roll: :grin: :lol: :hyper: ).

So much happening!!! And guess what?? This wasn’t the surprise secret!! :rotfl: I still have that to share too!!!! :rotfl: My goodness what a great surprise today! :smile: Just brightened my day! :grin:

    I have already been gone for Police Clearance Certificate and that will be ready in a month or so. I hope the interview call also takes about the same time. So things should start moving faster now as Pareeka said:smile:

    Well actually its 6.52 am (Eastern Standard Time) here on the Eastern Coast but the blog is set for the time at my home which is on Central US Time. Have to be in the office by 7 :grumpy:

    Well, i am sure you dont know me, & I am sorry if this was supposed to be a private site,I came across your blog just today, while searching for the song akhiyon ke jharoke se. Your song list is just fantastic!! I like every one of it.

    Just curious, after the application was approved, how long did the process take there after?

    Was the interview right away for your fiance?

    Neeraj’s interview at the Consulate in Mumbai was on July 21 Dhaval, so it took a few months until the interview was scheduled. There are some steps that the person in India has to go through — some packets are received in the mail, have to go for the medical testing, etc…
