Stop Singing!
There is one main person that I think should never sing in Bollywood — Anu Malik! 
My god I get a headache everytime I hear him. I was so psyched when I saw that there was a Holi song in the new movie, Waqt , but then when I heard it, I couldn’t even finish the song. 
It wasn’t well composed but his singing was just unbearable! Why does he keep on singing?? Doesn’t he know his voice doesn’t suit any of today’s actor (or any actor for that matter)?? Just because he is the music director, he thinks he can do whatever he wants.
The music of Waqt in a whole was not good. Not impressed. Heard that one song from Zeher, something about lamhe baatein which was pretty good. I will never watch the movie, but the song was hummable.

Poonam, agree with you cent percent. He has a horrible voice.
I loved his music in ‘Phir Teri Kahaani Yaad Asyi’…I thought it was awesome…but when he gets into singing…eeeoooo….awful!!!

I don’t really care for the movie Puneet. I wasn’t planning on watching it but in fact I believe that it was Prasad’s blog that I read abt. the song so decided to go ahead and listen to it. I had seen the trailer so the song was familiar to me, and I was like. Good observation on the Murder, I noticed that too.
I don’t think you want to listen to me sing Prasad…now dance, that’s another story.
I am a dancing machine but when it comes to singing, you should listen to my better half. 
Neeraj is a great singer!

wassup, i regularly visit ur blog but am too lasy to leave a comment..anyways yea ANU MALIK.. um once u start talking the “good” things about him him i guess tehre is no end to it… just like when he starts singing there is no end..
And yea Mannat i definately agree with you on the songs of the Movie “phir teri kahani yaad aye”…one of my favorites till today.. especially.. tere dar par sanam chaley aye..and aney wala pal ek sapna hai…..
Zeher movie has another good song “agar tum mil jao”, but the lamhey song is awesome, i heard its a song from Pakistani group called Jaal? not sure but thats wat i heard…

Horrendous song to say the least! But the worst part is that when i was in Delhi during holi, it was all over the place… shudder shudder … and its quite catchy and i was humming it all day long and cursing myself for doing so !

Anu Mallik ke poorane din were the best ones- Aawargi, Sohni Mahiwal , Radha Ka Sangam, Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aaayi, Sir , Border, Virasat (copied,though) were good stuff. I recently heard a lovely Kishore Kumar no. ‘ matlabi hai log yahan per, matlabi zamana, socha saaya saath dega, nikla woh begaana, begaana, apnon mein main begaana’ and was floored. Got to know its an Anu Mallik composition. That was surprising!
