Virtual Bloggers Meet - Come and Join!

Good to hear that someone is taking the initiative on having a Virtual Blogger’s Meet. Good going Kaush! Let’s hope it all works out. For more details go visit Kaush’s site. I don’t think the date and time has been fixed yet, but she does have a mini poll up where you can help all included to decide on a time. :smile:

I hope to join — so I hope that the many that come to our blog come online for the event. Its going to be on Yahoo Messenger and make sure that you either have a webcam, microphone, or a photo of yourself handy because its going to be a requirement. It will definitely be a requirement if you want to talk to me. :yes: Even though I think I know what most of you look like. :rotfl:

Anyway, the blog itself is password protected. Let me know if anyone has any problems or finds any loopholes. Let me know if you have any feedback as well. :yes:

New photos will be up soon on the Our Photos section. Check tomorrow (Friday).

My main problem with the robots is on Yahoo. I found that Inktomi Slurp bot, which is Yahoo’s robot, is indexing my pages like crazy! :irked: So I am going to try to implement Chetan’s code. Thanks for it! :smile:

Going a little too password protected happy - so thanks to Manpreet, I have now made the photos not protected. :smile: So everyone that has access feel free to look at the photos and comment if you like any of the photos. :wink:

    So, I’ve managed to get access to the secure area!! :D

    Virtual meet sounds fun!! But, the timings will be odd, I guess.. due to the difference in time zones between India, US and other countries…

    this password protection script.. works like a breeze… !! cool!!

    btw.. just 2 days back i was cribbing that i am bored.. and now.. we have a yahoo group for spamming… a virtual meet on the cards… and as always blogs for helping us look busy in office :) Cool na?

    well i dont like this passwd thingy… kinda of a bummer hv to log in everytime to c the blog… but its ok u hv valid reasons for that… so better get eng fast n get rid of this !!!

    just did the poll n am surp that 28% want it to be on wed… koi kaam dhanda nahi rehta kya wed ko ? sat sounds good…

    But, its ok. And yeah, that virtual meet sounds good. Yeh requirements kya hai mam?. :eyebrow: Anyways, time is a constraint for me. I’ve choosen saturday, but getting up at 5:30 is difficult. Anyways, lets see.

    I hope you come too Prasad to the Virtual Bloggers Meet. :smile: I am glad that you two liked the password protection — hope it wasn’t too much of a hassle. Neeraj did most of the approvals while I was sleeping but forgot to check the box so it would send an automatic email. :rotfl: No worries mere saath bhi aaisa hua tha. So I am glad that you guys tried again in case you didn’t get the email.

    Its even something that I didn’t want to do Kunal but halaat aaise hain ke we have to be careful. My cousins ko cause an issue if they told their parents so that’s why it was important for me to do it. :smile: Don’t worry, it will definitely be temporary and i will take off the password protection on the Our Photos, how’s that? :smile:

    You shouldn’t have to login every single time you come to the website. It should save your cookie if you are coming from the same PC. So just login on any PC you think you will be using, and ta da! No more logging in. :smile:

    Why didn’t you like the password protection Govind? :sad: Do tell me and I will definitely try to improve. :smile: If its because that you will have login everytime you come, then that shouldn’t be the case because of the saved cookie. Do comment back. :smile:

    Yes quite odd timing for you — but you can try to wake up one day at 5.30 am :wink: :smile: I know that I would have to think abt. that too if I was in your case, but i hope you decide to come. :smile:

    Hi girl! So finally got down to pass protected. I think its a great idea! Maybe I can start a blog about the two of us now ;) Acha THANKYOU VERY MUCH for mentioning the Virtual Bloggers meet. It should be a whole lot of fun! Thanks much for promoting it! and you finally got all the songs on you list! I have to look at the list again! And hopefully will be able to share some songs….you take care :)

    Actually, password protection is good. Allowing only our friends to access the blog. Then it becomes a restricted territory?. Anyways, I am also thinking about making password entry for my blog. Am not sure though, anyways do send me that password. Thanks. :)

    I will try to be there for the meet. Chalo dekthe hain!!. How do I know the people, who will be sending the ids to be added??. Anyways, its a nice idea by “Kaush(is it her name??)”.

    I really don’t care what people, regular normal average people, think about me…but in fact my main reason for doing the password protection Govind is that I don’t want anyone in my family to think negatively or wrongly about Neeraj and myself or our relationship. If our relationship was common knowledge within our families then it wouldn’t be a big deal, but because we haven’t made an announcement in our family, it can cause eyebrows being raised :eyebrow:, do you know what I mean? :smile:

    Anyway, I told the girl that i got the script from that I wouldn’t pass it on to anyone but because you are a good friend of mine and I trust you that you won’t pass it on to anyone, I will send it to you. :smile:

    Yup Kaush is her real name (guju hai :wink: ). Just send your id to Kaush at her email -

    WOW Govind and Mannat! Never have i seen such a discussion about my name. Actually Kaush is short for a much longer name! But Kaush is what almost everyone who knows me calls me! :) Yes, Govind it is my name :)
