Jor se Bolo: Jai Mata Di!

Posted on May 3rd, 2005 by Poonam

Lakhon tar gaye lakhon ne tar jaana maiya jee teraa naam japte…

Beautiful bhent it is, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere. If anyone finds this bhent sung by Narendra Chanchal and written by Ramlal Phani, then please do send us a message through the Contact Us link above on the navigation.

If you check out the second page of Our Photos, you will see that last year in July, my parents and I made the hike up to Chicago to the Hari Om mandir to watch the Devi Ma Jagran held by Narendra Chanchal and his group.

What a great experience! Just a great experience that I can’t wait to go this year. Mata’s shakti can take you way far, and last year at this jagran it took me right up to Narendra Chanchalji himself! I was dancing just only a few feet in front of him while he sang his bhents! You can read more about my experience in this old post of mine.

I don’t know when he is coming this year but you can already see the ads on TV Asia. For those in the states and haven’t had a chance to see him in person, I would greatly suggest that you see him in a mandir near you. He travels all over and really it changes your life.

I am a strong believer of Vaishnodevi Mata because she has done so much for me. She has been there in my sukh and dukh ke times. Mata ke darbar par jaao toh jarur woh sunti hai. I have felt that. I have told my deepest darkest secrets and even have asked forgiveness for my sins to Mata and the feeling of relieved or the feeling of that chip being taken off my shoulders is felt.

This last Sunday, I had donated an extra $100 to my mandir in the name of Durga Mata. Why? Many a times when Mata Rani has done something for me, I have said that I would donate such amount, but always due to financial reasons I was unable to pay at that time. Now feeling the capacity to do it, I finally donated and thanks to meri Ma for doing so much for me. Ab main unki seva karongi. How so? Details will follow for that in another post.

Sheronwali Da Teri Sadaa Hi Jai!

Alvida. Jai Mata Di.

Good for you, Poonam. I think it all depends on the faith. It’s amazing what people could have faith on. Many times I am rather marveled by people’s faith on different things/people or even a supernatural power. I know people who simply have blind faith …,but as long as it gives them an inner peace of mind, I think that’s all what matters.
It’s always good to make donations for a good cause:smile:

  2. Priya Says:

i am also a believer of shera waali maata…

uchyan jyota waali maata teri sada hoyi jai…bol saanche darbaar kee jai…

  3. Gaurav Says:

Lakhon tar gaye lakhon ne tar jaana maiya jee teraa naam japte
    What xactly r u looking for Poonam - mp3 or a CD/DVD?

  4. Poonam Says:
Yep I totally agree with you Mannat. Its so important to believe. Donating for a good cause is great. That great feeling that you get within yourself is something that is unique on its own. I know that whenever I do seva for the mandir or for an organization, I get that good feeling once more. So its important to show its not only money that you are able to donate, you can also donate your time.

Saache darbar ki jai! Jai Mata Di Priya!

Yup you got it Gaurav. Those babas are a waste! :irked: I am actually looking for the .mp3 of that song. I have the video. I just need the audio so i can listen to it. If you find it, then that’s great, just let me know. Thanks! I found it on the net that it is in the Jai Maa audio tape made by T-Series, if that helps.

  5. Gaurav Says:

I have heard a lot about Vaishnodevi Maata, especially since Sushant’s family is a firm believer. Faith does give you a direction, something to hold on to in bad times and good. I am always marvelled by the fact that most of us have a belief in some supernatural power. Hope you get the bhent y ou were looking for, mere saath share karna jab mile :)good luck ..i will see what if I can do somehting. :)

  8. Poonam Says:
Yup Kaush dear..it is amazing…there is a power out there more powerful than us..and the important thing that I believe is that everyone should believe in that. After that in which ever avatar you believe in is up to you..but the belief in God is important.

The bhent is really a great one! If I do ever find it (maybe with the help of Gaurav I will find it sooner than later ) then surely I will share with you.

Jai mata di .. doston aaj meri ticket aa gayi ghar par.. in India.. from delhi To Katra 15th June and return to delhi on 17th june ..

Chalo bulawa aaya hai mata ne bulaya hai …

me reaching India on 3rd and though my schedule was very tight just 3 weeks hopefully I will manage to visit Vaishnov devi ..so Poonam if you dont get the Mp3 by then(which is quite impossible) let me know I will bring that from India :D .. Let me tell you guys abt my experience of MATA RANI.. To be very frank i was a non believer in all murti pooja as we come from Arya samaj family .. so never been to mandir till the i went to college … when i was in college ..friends made prog for vaishnov devi back in 1996 and that too not on a holiday we were in class waiting for PROF to come …one of friend in class asked should we go to vaishnov devi 2 others said why not and then in no time we were 5 to go to Vaishnov Devi and 5 of us bunked classes.. packed bags and went to railway station .. aaj tak kabhi hamara aisa jaldi mein prog nahi bana kahin ka bhi .. to hamare saath 1 tha firm believer he said mata ka bulawa aisa hi hota hai and we said ye ye jokingly…. that was the first time I went to Vaishnov Devi .. but i went there for trekking ..serioulsy… when i saw ppl there i was literallly amazed at how ppl go there and how much faith they have in Mata.. people walk barefotted 14 kms.. and some of them cover the whole distance rolling (I really appreciate the bahkti bhavana of those ppl) but then too I was like okay …Its their belief and I dont believe kindaaa stuff.. uske baad main 3 baar aur gaya apne friends ke saath ..aise hi ..i could avoid..but pata nahi kyon chala gaya .. but tab bhi its like kuch nahi .. but last yr .. 2004 I went to Jammu to attend marriage of one of my friend’s brother.. and I dont know why but I wanted to go Vaishnov Devi desperately .. even though I was alone as my friend was busy in bro;s marriage but I went there …. all the way saying Jai mata di .. jai mata di .. dont know why(last four times i was saying this aise hi but this time I really meant it )..I was feeling as if mera jeevan safal ho jayega agar mujhe darshan ho jayenge MATA ke to..I was so happy the day before when i was in marriage ceremony.. and on the way to Darbar I got so pareshan ke pata nahi mere jeevan mein kitni kathinayin hai and main MATA ke darshan nahi kiye to pata nahi kya ho jayega…. and feeling of restlessness.. as if something is there that I want and I am not able to reach … and pata nahi aur kya kya .. .and when I reached the darbar meri aankhon se aason nikal gaye just looking at the mata ki teen shilayen(i dont even know what pandit ji said abt those mata ki shila.. i was just looking at them and was lucky to be there for 10 mins .. as it was not a peak season..).. and since then Jab bhi main thoda pareshan hota hoon MAA ka naam leta hoon aur thoda sa mann acha feel karne lagata hai .. From that day I am firm believer in MATA RANI ..and infact I manage to visit temple every week jab se pittsburgh aaya.. and whenever i am in Chicago I go to HariOm temple.. Last Year I missed Narendra Chanchal .. infact i dint knew ke Chanchal aa rahe hain and main 3rd July ko downtown mein FIREWORKS dekh raha tha :( mere ko pata to tha ke jagran hai aaj but yeh nahi pata tha ke wahan Narendra Chanchal aa rahe hain….anyways Poonam let me know agar Is year ka tumhe pata lage ke kab aa rahe hain aur kahan aa rahe hain to I will try to come..

    Jai Mata DI….

HI guys, I had this urge to read abt Matarani at the Vaishnov Devi shrine, been there twice n eachtime was awesome. Reached US just recently n was kind of missing my roots and She pulled me towards like minded children of Hers.

Manish and Poonam enjoyed reading the posts.

  14. :: Neeraj & Poonam’s Weblog :: Our Journey Begins….Together » May 15 - Mata ki Chowki Says:

[...] With the 15th of May the beginning of the first night of marriage events (Mata ki Chowki), it just makes perfect sense that the music that should be heard while reading this post is my favorite Mata Rani bhent by Narendra Chanchal. As the day began, the feeling had changed within me. Relatives were pouring in the dozens throughout the morning, and it finally felt that I was getting married. The first relatives that I saw that morning was Funny Aunty and Shyamlal Jijaji. Funny Aunty is Mumma’s masi (mother’s sister), and she is one of the two masis’ that brought up Mumma as a child. Mumma calls her Aunty, and so when I was young Aunty always made us laugh & laugh with us, so I gave her the name Funny Aunty. Till this day we call her by that name only. [...]

  15. Alex Thomas Says:

Although I am a Christian, I had a chance to visit mata Vaishnov Devi’s Mandir in Jammu in the year 2004. But then I went their very casually along with my friends. But since last 7 - 8 months I am regularly going to Mata Vaishnov Devi’s Mandir in Malad - East (Mumbai). Its the replica of the original Matarani’s Mandir.

I have been very down in my life all of a sudden, but one day it came into my mind to go to Matarani’s Mandir and went to the Mandir (Malad). I have seen changes in my life and things have changed so much I just cann’t believe myself. Today I don’t want anything else other than Matarani. While walking, travelling, working wherever I am I always keep on saying JAI MATA DI.

BOLO SACHCHE DARBAR KI - JAI MATA DI
