Our dear blogger and friend Ashwin requested us to do this in our blog, so Neeraj and I are doing this jointly. :smile: Please follow carefully, there will be a quiz at the end. :rotfl:

1) Total number of films I own on DVD/video:

VHS = Too Many To Count!!!! Atleast over 150. :shock: My family are movie freaks.

DVD = Neeraj and I collectively have around 12 DVDs.

2) The last film I bought:

The very last DVD we bought was Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham & Veer Zaara (2 in 1 DVD).

3) The last film I watched:

* In the theatre: Dil Maange More — both of us saw in Mumbai :razz:

* On TV: Neither of us have watched a full movie on TV in a long time. :smile:

* On video/DVD: Last full movie we had seen might have been Yuva. :roll:

4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:

  • Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham — great movie, always brings tears to my eyes.
  • Sholay — we both love that movie — just an all time fav.
  • KaunNeeraj loves this movie plus this will remain memorable for us for a reason :wink:
  • Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein — great movie, great storyline, great acting :smile:
  • Khakee — another movie we watched together and loved :smile:
  • 5). Pick five people and have them put this in their journal:

    Five is difficult but I would like the following people:
    Manpreet, Madhu, Manish, Mannat, Ankur, Mona, Indu, Prasad, Anat, Priya, Puneet, and Vidhi

    Kunal, Govind, Pareeka, Kaush (tera pata nahi kab update karegi :razz: ), and Mallika, please do comment and let us know your answers. :yes:

    We figured that was a waste of a question. :smile: We want to hear from everyone, so if you post it in your blog just trackback us or just write your answers in the comments below. :smile:

    1. Pareeka Says:

      1) Total number of films I own on DVD/video:

      VHS = I think my family has about maybe 6.

      DVD = I have around 78 DVDs (all with 2 in 1 movies).

      2) The last film I bought:

      The last DVD i bought was Bewafaa & Jurm (2 in 1 DVD)

      3) The last film I watched:

      * In the theatre: Bride and Prejudice

      * On TV: Monsoon Wedding was on last week so i watched that.

      * On video/DVD: The last DVD i watched was Aetbaar (rewatched it last night)

      4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:

      Devdas - There are some scenes in this movie which i really connected with and plus the dialogue is good too. This movie still makes me cry everytime i watch it especially the scene where Paro is getting married and then Devdas turns up.

      Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam — The movie is good but im another one of those critics who dont agree with the ending. The song tadap tadap is good from this movie.

      Dhadkan - Great movie. I first watched this movie at a time in my life where i really needed to see the themes that this movie depicted. It made me realise that life does go on and that nothing is as bad as it first seems (Shipla is so heartbroken after losing her first love that she doesnt realise what a great man her husband and once she starts giving him a chance and stops seeing him as the enemy she ends up falling in love with him. That it is up to us as individuals to make things work.

      Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai - a very sweet love story.

      Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak - A very simple plot that worked.

    2. Manish Says:

      1) Total number of films I own on DVD/video:

      VHS = 20-22
      DVD = 10 DVDs

      2) The last film I bought:

      Veer Zaara

      3) The last film I watched:

      * In the theatre: Swades

      * On TV: Pukar(watched it a year back :D)

      * On video/DVD: Veer Zaara

      4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:
      though the list is more than just 5 movies.. but will mention only five…

      Dil Chahta Hai - what i liked in movie was Love and Friendship… Aakash, Sid , Sameer ..teeno ki dosti .. and Aakash-Shalini .. Sid - Tara and Sameer - Pooja ka pyar ;) .. then light movements in movie.. song Dil chahta hai , tanhaiyee.. trip to Goa.. intensity of love of Aakash for shalini — having courage to propose her on a day before her wedding and too in front of her fiancee:D

      The Legend Of Bhagat Singh - A tweleve year old ladka pagalon ki tarah Gandhi ji ke Non corporation movement par unke saath chalne wala , Ahimsa se Hinsa par aa gaya just because gandhi ji ne non corporation movement wapis le liya …and Irony he was on hunger strike for 55 days to get prisoners the basic human rights.. I really started hated Gandhi ji after watching the movie..Agar Bhagat singh ko fansi na di gayi hoti to aaj India ka naksha kuch aur hi hota…

      Dilwale Dulhaniya le jayenge - “To kya hua main aapki beti ko Deewano ki tarah chahta hoon … ke iske alawa mere ko kisi aur ka chehra nazar nahi aata” do I need to say anything else.. such a great happy ending love story :) love this movie and acting of Shahrukh baba and Kajol was awesome :)

      Nayak - me being a dreamer .. hope that one day we will have Ministers like him who fight corruption and work for the progress of Nation .. aur jald hi woh din bhi aayega.. Amen

      Veer Zaara - Intensity of love .. sacrifice in love… “kabhi bhi kahin bhi dost ki zarorat pade to yaad rakhiyega ke sarhad paar 1 aisa shakas hai jo aapke liye apni jaan bhi de dega..” ..touchy love story .. songs are good..music is too good.. “tum they ke thi koi ujli kiran ..tum they ya koi kali muskai thi ..tum they ya khushbu hawaoon mein thi tum htey ya rang saari dishaon mein they ” and “Tere liye hum hain jiye hoton ko seeye..”

      Shabba khair :wave:

      Mast likha hai tumne Manish. Padke bahut masti aayi. :smile: Nayak bahut sahi movie banayi hai…kaash Anil Kapoor jaise log aur hote yeh duniya main jo woh kar sakhe jo usne kiya. Sahi banayi hai movie. Veer Zaara bhi mast banayi hai…jab SRK wahan khada hota hai during the qawwali.aur Priety ki saigai ho rahi hoti hai yaa jo bhi..kya mast scene hai woh. Bilkul zabardast.
