After no response from the US Consulate in Mumbai regarding our case status, Neeraj began to get worried. :neutral: So he told me that he wanted to go early Friday morning to the embassy in Worli and find out the status himself. I was telling him that its okay, maybe we will get the mail today, but he still wanted to make sure. :smile:

So I woke him up at 6.15 am IST, we talked till 6.45 am, and then he was off. The enquiry counter supposedly opens up at 8.30 am. When he got there, there were already 20 people in the queue. :shock:

The enquiry counter closes at 11 am. :roll: I called him around 9.45 am IST, and he still had about 7 people ahead of him. We talked for 25 mins, and then he said that there were about 3 people still ahead of him in the queue, so his turn will come soon. We hung up the phone, and I went to sleep. What seemed like an eternity later, I get an SMS.

Neeraj’s Interview Date is 21st July at 9.15 AM:!::!:

So that gives us plenty of time to be prepared. :smile: I don’t think we really should have any problems, but this is the time that we need everyone’s blessings.

    Thanks Mannat and Madhu. We both are happy now that we know what we are working towards. :smile: But the happiest we will be when Neeraj will have his visa in his hand. :smile:

    WOW!!! Congratulations!!! Chalo chalo parttyyyy shaartty..kyunki ab toh sab kuch smooth hi jaayega..good luck with the remainder of it..ab to bahot kam baaki hai..and good luck to Neeraj for the interview. Sabkuch mast se ho jaayega :)and so Neeraj will be in US soon…acha logon se saath hamesha acha hi hota hai:):)

    Still working through the bureaucratic muddle Ashwin. We haven’t gotten all of the docs yet from Kanpur, Mumbai, and Lucknow. :sad: Once that is done, we shall be ready. :smile: Thanks for the nice words.

    Ok no problem Tanya. :smile: Its just something that I noticed and thought that I would ask. You could have done the “Forget my Password”, and it would have sent you a new one. But you can use Manpreet’s if you want. :smile:
