I was on TV!!!!!!!

So its official. I am off to Austin, Texas on Monday morning for three weeks. I am waiting on a final call from the project manager so that I know the details (what time I need to be there, what hotel to choose, etc..). The excitement isn’t really there, but I just hope it goes by fast. There are many mandirs in that area, and I can’t wait to go check out @least one of them.

For those that missed it, I was on TV today:!::!::!: Yes, finally on the Community Roundup program they showed the Narendra Chanchal Mata Rani Jagran that Mumma and I went to on 17th June. There we were sitting and enjoying Chanchalji’s bhajans! We watched it with full stereo surround sound and with me, of course, dancing live. So for those who are in the US and have TV Asia, you can still have a chance to check it out tomorrow morning.

The parents and I are heading up to Devon Street (famous little India of Chicago) tomorrow during the day to do some shopping and have some great food. They also have one of the nicest beauty salons so shall also get a facial while I am there.

Neeraj will get his medical report back today but must keep it sealed till the day of the interview. He has got a busy day himself so hope all goes well for him.

London will be the place for the 2012 Summer Olympics. I saw the pics today on Zee News how they are going to modernize London, and by golly it looked cool:!: Neeraj and I are going to the Olympics that year, are you? Ok, I don’t know if we are or not, by then we will have kids and most likely settled in India. Wishful thinking for now.

Me, Delhi will be bidding for 2016 olympics… already it is going to host 2010 commanwealth games… and is also in the race for the 2012 Asiad..!! :-)

Yeah, London is the offcial place for 2012 olympics. But I was shocked with this morning blasts in London…that’s really sad. The G8 Summit was bound to bring in such horrible acts.
Devon Street…main bhi jaoong:(:(. I love that place. Reminds me of India. Though I like the one in NY better….
And you will get your facial done too?? One of my friends is getting married in Chicago this months…so I will be heading there soon:)
Austin, eh?? Beautiful place and has some wonderful crowd. I am sure you will love it there. Many mandirs, many Indian stores and many Indian restaurants. 3 weeks will pass in no time.

Bomb blasts in London the next day of it being declared official place for olympics 2012 is very saddening and shocking..I dont understand whosoever does that why they do that.. how can they prove their point killing and injuring innocent people..

That’s really cool that you are on TV !!!! I know the feeling Last time when I was in high school, I went to this talk show in Singapore with my friends. Then the next day, the talk show was showing on TV and we were there. We were very excited hahaha

Yeah London will be the next place for Olympiade, I really want to watch it if it’s possible

Bomb blash in London, it’s really sad to hear that … last night, I just watched CNN the whole night … it’s everywhere on the news … it’s really sad ….

@ Prasad. Bloggers meet in London eh? Not a bad idea..tum bhi apni biwi bacchon ke saath aa jaana. Thanks for the good advice, I shall watch out for the paparazzi (i would hate to be a movie star )…aacha hai ke main just choti moti tv show par aayi thi.

Sure Manpreete I shall send you also an autograph photograph. I will not send you just my autograph because tera kuch pata nahi hai..meri sign ko kahan kahan isthmaal kar dehga. I taped the program but its on a VHS tape…don’t know how to convert it so I can put it on the net. Any ideas?

What happened in London today was really just disgusting and sickening Mannat. I was quite saddened by these terror attacks. I just don’t understand how someone else is able to sleep @ night knowing that today they killed innocent people:!:

Yup had great seats this time Manish @ the jagran. You can read all abt. it in that post and see the pics in Our Photos. Unfortunately they didn’t let us take any video because they were having some professional do it. But we asked for last year’s video, and they didn’t have that either. So who knows if they really make a video!

Really sad abt. the bomb blasts. Thanks for the nice words abt. the trip. Texas has an all around huge Indian population..aaj kal aaisi kaunsi jagah hai jahan desi log nahi hai.

Thanks Mona. Its a short project in Austin, but it will buy me time until the project near my home starts. So you have been on TV too eh?? That’s fantastic. The bomb blasts in London were horrendous and sad.

@ Rashu. Dekh 2012 main…main 29 ki ho jaaongi..teri shaadi bhi ho gayi hogi..toh def mere toh bacche bhi ho gaye honge. jaldi ki toh baat hi nahi hai..@ the age of 29 toh bacche ho jaane chaiye..30 ke baad phir wot lagti hai. Tu toh 28 saal main shaadi karegi..teri toh wot lagne wali hai. :rotfl:
