Half the Work is Now Done

Its been over a month since Neeraj had gotten his US visa stamp.

Exactly a month since Terrible Tuesday (bayanak Mumbai floods) where Neeraj lost everything to the power of water, including his apartment flat, visa documents, and passport.

Less than a month since Neeraj had his last day at the office in Powai.

20 days since Neeraj found out that he needed to get a new passport because his was considered damaged.

16 days since we hit the major jhatka in our lives trying to get one officer to vouch for Neeraj so that he can apply through tatkaal.

15 days since the day Neeraj was suppose to reach America the first time.

14 days since Neeraj applied the regular way to get his passport reissued.

7 days since the day when Neeraj was suppose to reach America the second time.

3 days since Neeraj made rounds to the Mumbai CID Special Branch and Saki Naka Police Station to expedite his police report.

1 day since Neeraj finally got his new passport.

Half the work is now done.

Thanks Mallika. Abhi ticket durr ki baat hai…abhi visa stamping ke liye do din lagne wale hain. Only half the work is done dost.

Thanks Ankur. Gov’t depts are not going to be efficient. The troubles that we went through is not listed.

Just 2 days!!!! it will pass in a jiffy….and soon Neeraj will have the visa stamped Passport in his hands…just a matter of time….i am sure you know it…you know what i have done with my passport i got reissued? Kept it in the locker :lol:…couldnt afford to lose it again u c :irked:…just 2 days…keep us updated ok?

Hopefully it will be just two days Mallika. I am trying not to get excited to end up getting my hopes up. It will happen when it will need to happen. Let’s hope for the best:!:
