Its just been too long since I have posted. I shouldn’t be writing this post from the office, but I am quite bored at this time. 
Thanks everyone for your good wishes. Neeraj had reached safely last Thursday in Chicago. His flight was delayed one hour but the factors were against him: (1) he was on Air India and (2) he was flying into O’Hare, famous for delayed flights. But no worries, I passed the time as I waited for Neeraj.
He has now slowly settled into his apartment which is just about five mins from my home. Monday was really tough going to the office because I wanted to spend the day with him, but we have to make a living. 
My parents were here from Springfield on Sunday and Monday so they also got to spend time with Neeraj. We still have his immigration papers to fill and send, which we will do in the next few days. Then hopefully, with God’s grace, we will receive his work authorization card quickly so that then he can start looking for a job. I wanted to write a quick update here and shall be posting again tomorrow. Guess what else? I already got Neeraj hooked on my favourite reality show, Fame Gurukul. Even though he thinks that its all an act and that they are reading lines, there are many parts that he is enjoying. I told him that if it was just a serial, per se, then it wouldn’t be called a reality show.
Other than that, we have started to practice Neeraj’s driving. He is improving day by day, and we will be very well prepared when it will be time to give his driving test. Before that we still have to apply for a Social Security Number which hopefully we shall do this Friday. Once receiving that, he will be able to open a bank account and able to apply for a driver’s license.
After a long time, it finally rained last night and today. Its been a very dry summer, and the rain is very much needed here.

Hey…welcome back. I am glad that Neeraj is finally settling down. I am sure he will get the SSN, driving license & his work authorization in no time. The good thing is that he is living very close to where u live.
I can understand how hard it must be for u to go to work everyday, leaving Neeraj alone. I guess once he starts working, it would be levelled out.
Oh, Fame Gurukul is getting everyone hooked. I really didn’t want Shamit to leave…but looks like his dear friend is going to vote him out. How sad! But at the same time, I also don’t want Qazi to leave yet. I think he makes the show so much fun to watch. Although he is not a good singer, he is a great talker. Oh well, may the best ones win!
It rained at my end too…and what a relief. I am sure the farmers must be up for a happy dance today. This was an ice breaker for the otherwise dry summer.
My bad luck, but this time again I won’t be able to make it to the OBM. I am going to be in CA that weekend. Next time check with me before u plan this out;)

), the show got even more interesting. I think that was quite dumb of Ila Arun to get so upset with Arijit for making that decision. How would Monica feel? Seriously, its quite bad. Anyway jo bhi ho.

I just don’t really understand Arijit Ankur. There has to be a reason that Arijit voted out Shamit. I just don’t understand why he cried so much for that vote… if he didn’t want to vote him out, then he shouldn’t have. Very dumb that he then didn’t vote for Monica in the next round.

Hey Poonam, its been sooo long since ive dropped by here…got to know from Neeraj about his being in the US…am sooo happy for you guys!!! finally the commotion and the tension has ended with happiness and I pray that you guys stay happy forever!!!
About FG…well its not exactly a reality show but then its not a serial also its a mix between the two…there are a lot of strategic decisions happening..esp the Arijit-Shamit episode, Arijit deliberately removed Shamit from the scene as he couldve been a threat to him and as for Qazi the less said the better :p…
The OBM, hopefully I should be there but I am surely going to join in late as I am going to be working on Saturday :( (keeping fingers to make it before it ends)

Strategic decisions within Fame Gurukul is fine but the idea of it being “staged” or “preplanned” i think is wrong (which is what Neeraj had thought). That is when I explained that if it was such then it could not be called a reality show.
