So the week has past and now its Saturday. 
Diwali
This was the very first Diwali that Neeraj and I spent together. 
It was wonderful being together with my family. Even though I had to work, I came home early so that I could spend some extra time with Neeraj and the family. We made Rangoli outside and then had Diwali pooja that night. Our friends also came over to enjoy the Diwali festivities with us. Diyas were lighted and colourful lights were decorated outside of our home. Then we called Neeraj’s family and my parents wished his parents. It was great for them to talk to each other during this special occasion.
Interviews
Neeraj is beginning to get many calls for job interviews, which is just great. His biometrics appointment last weekend went just fine, now we are just waiting for his EAD to come through in the next few days.
Along with that, I forgot to mention that Neeraj is now a licensed driver in the state of Illinois. So now we don’t have to worry about anything while he drives because he has his license. 
He is also now a Sun Certified Java Programmer on Java 2 Platform. Yes, Neeraj passed his certification with flying colors (I don’t know if I mentioned it or not earlier 
). :smile My family and I are quite proud of Neeraj on his outstanding achievements!!
Engagement Preps
Slowly everything is getting done with the engagement party. We have the DJ equipment but now we need to get our songs in order. In fact I found this great DJ mixing software, MixMeister Express, but I have the trial version. 
If anyone has the real version and can pass it on, then do let me know.
This software lets you mix your songs so that they are nonstop, basically what a DJ. So because we don’t want to hire a DJ, we are going to get all of the remixes that we want to play, and then mix it ourselves.
Also we got to get the engagement rings and decide on what we are going to wear. So much to do in such a short time period!!!!
