Found this to be very interesting, and I think you should all do it because this is really not necessary. Take a read and decide on your own:
Yahoo is now using something called “Web Beacons” to track Yahoo Group users around the net and see what you’re doing and where you are going similar to cookies. Yahoo is recording every website and every group you visit. Take a look at their updated privacy statement:
Yahoo Privacy
About half-way down the page, in the section on cookies, you will see a link that says web beacons.
Yahoo Privacy and Web Beacons
Click on the phrase web beacons. That will bring you to a paragraph entitled “Outside the Yahoo Network.” In this section you’ll see a little “click here to opt out” link that will let you “opt-out” of their new method of snooping. Once you have clicked that link, you are exempted.

Ankur, any chance of suing Yahoo… ?? Chance to get some $$$ into your pocket :)
I had left a comment congratulating you and Neeraj…but I think you deleted that post :).
Again..congrats to both of you..I am really happy for you :) :)
Ashwin
Ofcourse it violates our Privacy, so violation of Article 21 of the Constitution…
We can go ahead with the case, but they will have the defence that they are providing the same in their terms and option to opt-out also… Indian courts in such cases can decide either way, as there aren’t any precendents (Bazee case still pending)
In any case, we can just ask for injunction against the same but can’t claim $$$ compensation unless and until we prove that we have incurred some sort of loss or harm (monetary or otherwise)
But you can still go ahead with the case, as lawyers assure, we will only win the case
hmm.. so, some work for Ankur again… :)
Hmm.. poonam/neeraj kithe hain ji?
Poonam is preparing for tomorrow’s party, we all be receiving invitation very shortly
Advanced birthday wishes dear!:) have fun!
