Wedding Preps: Update No. 1

NP.com wishes you all a very

Happy Valentines’ Day!

This was the first Valentines’ Day that Neeraj and I spent together, and it was great spending the time. We didn’t go out or anything (it would have been crowded everywhere), so we spent it at home just like another Tuesday.

I have making random disappearing acts in the blog world, if life would settle down, I will definitely be my old active self again.

Wedding preparations are on:!: Neeraj’s sister, Lakshmi, has been a big help to us in Jaipur by going out to the hotels and checking them out for us. We are just about 99% decided on where we are holding the wedding ceremony on the 17th. Its now basically getting the deposit into the hotel people’s hands.

Invitations are going to be what we work on next once this is finalized. We have booked another hotel as well where my family is going to stay and have our ceremonies prior to the wedding.

So there is lots going on…we still haven’t decided where we are going to take my friends after the marriage. Come on guys, give me some good suggestions!!

My dress and jewelery we are going to do once I reach India. I am going to try my luck in Delhi first (my mama and mami think that’s the place to shop), then Mumbai, and lastly in Surat. So now I have atleast two days in Delhi from 1-2 May. From 3rd to 13th May I will be either in Mumbai or Surat.

This time we are going to have a real bloggers meet — something that we should start discussing. I hope that the big bloggers’ meet is at our wedding in Jaipur:!: We can do smaller meets in the other cities. So think about it, and comment back.

Its tough trying to prepare a wedding in another country because you are so dependent on other people. We are relying on my mama and Neeraj’s family to help us get everything done the way we want it. Its definitely been a good experience.

More to come.

Alvida. Jai Mata Di.

I can understanbd “random disappearing acts” at my blog :)

Real Blogging meet will surely be success :!:
About places to visit… I think all the good places are in Rajasthan… so you no need to visit elsewhere, except Agra

  3. Prasad says:

hmm.. so, u had a quite Valentine’s day..
yeah.. we can understand.. u guys would be busy preparing all the things for the wedding.. and being far away from teh wedding place makes things more difficult as u said..
hmm.. real bloggers meet seems gud.. any idea to coem down to B’lore to have a bloggers meet here????? :)

  4. Manpreet says:

Real bloggers meet… can have it anywhere.. delhi, mumbai, jaipur or even bangalore :P… ‘coz i really don’t know where will i be at that point of the year…

my suggestion is to take your friends around Rajasthan and MP.. they are certainly the most culturally rich places of india.. and your american friends will love it..

And, as for blogging… thoda zyada active hona mangta.. (applies to me as well) :)

Hi Poonam, how are you ? *hugs*
It has been a long time that I haven’t read any blogs … I miss it very much. These few weeks I was unsettled, there were a lot of things to be managed.

Thanks God now it’s over … now I am in Melbourne already and thanks God again that I got the job and have started working now  I miss Suhadi a lot though and miss Indonesia a lot … sometimes I am thinking whether I shold go back or not

Yeah wedding preparation in another place is really “challenging” It happened to me before, when I got married, it’s in Suhadi’s hometown, we just depend on his parents. Wish you the best yah … Your wedding in India definately will be wonderful *hugs*

  7. Poonam says:

Good to see your comment Indu. Wow so your v-day was similar to ours, but yours was movie-filled (as always  )! I am glad that you both enjoyed. Where are you these days, US or India?? I am confused. :eyebrow:

There should be no disappearing acts in anybody’s blog (including you Ankur). Getting from Agra to Rajasthan is my worry, any ideas? Waise you are a Delhite, getting from Delhi to Udaipur…what’s the frequency? Any help on that would be appreciated.

Aaww Prasad, coming down to Bangalore is going to be tough on this trip. But you are coming to our wedding in Jaipur right??? Manpreet is going to come, Ankur will come, you should also come:!: Neeraj and I are expecting you!!

Manpreet, tell Prasad that he should come to the wedding. You and Tan are going to come, so he should also come. It will be the best place to have the blogger’s meet! We will be able to spend more time with each other at that time only.

Nice to see you back Kaush dear. The songs, I shall list that in the next post. Wedding preps are hectic but fun. Everything is going fine. Ahmedabad jaane ka time nahi hai dear is baar. I am going to go to Delhi, Mumbai, and Surat (if I get the chance). Tu jaa rahi hai India?? Plan banaa le..abhi India ki ticket ki price aachi hai on American Airlines.

Good to see you Mona dear:!:  How are you and how do you like Melbourne?? Missing Suhadi..that is expected. Are you going to come to India in May? Please do come Mona, we will have a blast! So many of the Indian bloggers are also trying to come. Hope that it works for you!

  8. Manpreet says:
