Our To-Do List
We are down to one week
Neeraj and I will be traveling together back to India.
This is the first time that we will be traveling together via airplane, so we are excited.
WE I still got lots to do, so I have decided that I am going to start a list because otherwise it won’t get done.
Neeraj’s apartment — cleaned out and emptyFinish packing (Neeraj, Bhaiya, Papa, and myself)Toys for Neeraj’s nephews/niecesCall Cilco & Morton UtilitiesFind Mumma’s keys Take photos of Mumma’s flowersShopping for myself/NeerajTransfer money into Citibank account (Thanks Prasad)
Travel Adapter for mobile & camcorderWithdraw $$ from bankTake video of my house and Neeraj’s apartment for Lakshmi Print all E-tickets (i.e. Del-Mumbai/friends, etc..)Make CDs of new songs (Fanaa, 36 China Town, Gangster, etc..)
The list will grow as I think of other things.
Neeraj’s sister’s marriage is on 30th April, so he will leave, if not immediately reaching Delhi, the next morning for the marriage in Rajasthan. My parents are also going to the marriage, but unfortunately I am not going.
I would love to go but my family has said that its better that I don’t go; the glow of being a bride will be lost as all of his extended family will see me prior to our marriage is their reasoning.
So I will be in the scary city of Delhi.
I will have about three days (one day is a Sunday) to complete my shopping — which I think is very much do-able.
I will also get to spend some time with my masi/jijaji and cousins — which I am looking forward to doing.
Then I will be off to Aamchi Mumbai with my parents once they return from the marriage.
Then I will have about 10 days to enjoy with my cousins there and live the life in the greatest city of the world.
Ohhh I am getting sooo excited.
I wish I could leave right this minute.
There is really no desh like ours — Mera Bharat Mahaan.
Alvida. Jai Mata Di.

NO sunscreen — I don’t use it.
This isn’t my first trip to Delhi, I have been there many times — I have two masis’ that live there.
Luggage scene is fine — everything will be ready on time.
I have major shopping that I need to finish TODAY and tomorrow to get everything done. Neeraj is going to wear Sherwani for the marriage.
Yup I can’t wait till get into the marriage groove — I am already in it but still it will be more fun in India.
Yup, I gotta get some more batteries and memory stick. I am not going to get ALOT of memory because who knows who will take any pics from my camera.
Very funny Ankur.
Good reminder Prasad — I added it to the list.
Neeraj got an account number, but now has to wait 7-10 business days to get the Welcome packet from Citibank — which contains his ATM card, IPIN (to use internet facility), checkbook, etc… So we are going to try to transfer money another way.
Yup excitement is very high.
