Various Movies Reviewed!
Ok so we will have a movie reviewed that you may or may have not seen because it includes Hindi and English movies.
This may be a first at NP.com because many of you know, I don’t watch English movies that often.
Here it goes, enjoy!
007: Casino Royale
This movie was a disappointment. I am a pretty big Bond fan, but I just didn’t like this movie mainly because of the new Bond.
I just don’t think that Daniel Craig cut it as Bond, in fact, he looked more of a villian than Bond.
There weren’t any cool gadgets, and no the refibulator in the glove compartment does not suffice as a gadget.
It got so cheap that at one time Bond was driving a Ford:!:
Come on yaar, in what other movie have you seen Bond, the man who has it all, drive a non-luxury car????? A Jaguar, Ford’s luxury vehicle, would have been better:!: Geez! Anyway, this movie was a waste unless if you like Texas Hold’em Poker, what a game:!:
Krrish
Finally saw it - but I fell asleep. From what I saw it was good. Neeraj loved it.
Vivah
We watched this one on the Internet, and it was decent. I think Seema Biswas had kind of an odd role, it just didn’t fit right, and never once did I see Alok Nath tell her to act her age.
Come on yaar, if your wife is acting up like that with the young lady who you see as your own daughter you are going to tell her to shape up.
The direction wasn’t that good, sorry to say Sooraj Barjatya, but I wasn’t impressed with the scenes of just Shahid and Amrita Rao.
It was nothing like Madhuri and Salman in Hum Aapke Hain Koun, and frankly, I was expecting something spectacular like that.
Amrita Rao looks stunning, and Shahid looks good. Overall it was once seeing movie.
Dhoom 2
Awesome! Hrithik was absolutely amazing! Abhishek was awesome too!
Aish doesn’t know how to act, Bipasha Basu was a waste, and Uday Chopra needs to be like his father and brother and move BEHIND the camera.
Anyway, the story was good — I really liked the disguises that Hrithik did, and overall it was great! There aren’t a lot of movies that I can go again and see, but this is definitely one that I could!
Wonderfully made. I even liked the music, but then again if you ask Neeraj that means little, because I usually like anything with a catchy tune.
5 stars!!!
Pyar Ke Side Effects
Badi faltu movie hai.
I said that I wouldn’t watch any Mallika Sherawat movie, and if it wasn’t for the aunty @ the indian store, I wouldn’t have watched this rubbish movie.
She kept on telling Neeraj and me to watch this movie, and after all that I felt odd saying no. The story was hopeless, and I felt as if they were jumping from scene to scene. Not well directed at all.
That’s about it I think on the movies.
Baabul is still on the list, but it seems we won’t see it until it comes out on DVD.
Alvida. Jai Mata Di.

Havint seen Casino Royale & Vivah.

Vivaah - I thought it was a cute movie. The girl (I am bad with names) looked quite pretty.
Dhoom2 - It was an all & about Hrithik movie. He looked damn HOT. AB was ok, not his fault… he was just over-shadowed by Roshan Jr. Rest of the star cast didn’t really make an impact, especially Uday Chopra. I found him pretty annoying.
Baabul: Amitabh is the best thing about this movie. Salman was likeable, though I am not a fan of his. John Abraham was so-so. I liked the second half better than the first one.
Umrao Jaan: *yawn* it was B*O*R*I*N*G… a little slow for me. I am not an Ash fan…. AB was ok, he didn’t have much to do.
I am going to go watch Kaabul Express this weekend. It should be interesting. A few other movies I am looking forward to: Saalam-e-Ishq, Guru, Eklavya

Abhi abhi hi Krrish dekhi? I thought it was a nice entertainer..Casino Royale nahi dekhi..abhi you said it toh paise barbaad nahi karungi..
Baabul like I told you is a good movie but could have been a lot better! Its allright..I thought there was way too much time spent on Salman Khan that could have been spent on developing the Rani-Amitabh relationship..Rani looked very confident dancing with the two megastars AB and Hema Malini…

Have got only bad reviews on Casino Royale, so did not even care to watch it. BUt if you could, watch ‘The Departed’.
Still haven’t watched Vivaah. Hopefully this weekend.
D2…I have heard so many mixed reviews, but all and all one thing that everyone has said is that Hritik steals the show. So if nothing else, I will atleast watcht this movie for Hritik.
Baabul…Aman & I were gonno go watch it in theatre…but something came up, and program chopat.
You didn’t like Pyaar Ke Side Effects?? You are the first one who I am hearing say that. I thought it was decent comedy movie.
I am not eagerly waiting for Guru. That movie is going to bring a very positive twist to Abhishek’s career!

1. I didn’t watch Casino Royale because they changed Pierce Brosnan
I never thought an arranged marriage story can be this interesting, I really like it. and I love Shahid and Amrita, I think they are really good as a couple in the movie. I have all their movies at home
Abhishek is really cool too unfortunately he didn’t have a lot of scenes there, it’s more about Hrithik. Aish looked different, thinner, sexier but I still don’t like her. Luckily she wasn’t giggling in Dhoom 2 hehehe
Uday is funny in Dhoom 2
2. Krissh is a good movie although a lot of people say it’s an awesome movie.
3. I like Vivah very much
4. Dhoom 2, like I commented before, it’s a Hrithik’s movie I guess, he is amazing and hot hahaha He really looked handsome there
5. Pyar Ke Side Effects, haven’t watched the movie yet
I think I gonna watch Baabul too because it has John Abraham hahaha
