Goodbye 2006 - Hello 2007!!

NP.com would like to wish all of our readers a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

The new year started off well at my home in Morton. Last night (30th Dec.) my bro bought a new car! This time he went all out and bought an SUV (sport utility vehicle). :smile: He traded in his Alero and got a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox LS. :smile: 2006 Chevrolet Equinox We are very excited — he was in need of a new car, and this has more room for us to travel together easily. :smile: Its a great start for him on the new year. :smile:

We have had a chance to talk to relatives today in India, and so the morning has been enjoyable. No other big plans this year, as we will just be home tonight. :smile:

As we take a quick look back at 2006, its been a great year for us. :smile:.

  • Neeraj started his first job in the USA in February 2006.
  • Neeraj and I planned for our wonderful day of getting married.
  • Neeraj’s sister, Lakshmi, got married in April.
  • Neeraj and I finally saw that faithful day of being married.
  • We bought our first car (2006 Hyundai Sonata) together.
  • Neeraj became a Permanent Resident of the US.
  • I received a promotion at my job which I eventually resigned from due to excessive traveling.
  • We moved to Missouri and started new jobs at a wonderful company.
  • We got meet for the first time face-to-face bloggers that we have known for quite some time such as Mannat and Kaush.
  • Neeraj’s parents got their passports made, and in 2007 will work to get them to come to the US.
  • And lastly now my brother Suraj bought a brand new car.

    • We hope that 2007 is as prosperous and enjoyable as 2006!

      aaah! sahi main great year for NP.com!!! I havealways wanted to have an SUV so the next car I buy..whenever it is..will be an SUV..if I were to buy it tomorrow it would be a Lexus rx 350- kya car hai!!!! but no money = no new car hahaaha good for Suraj he got a nice car like that

      How do you like the sonata? My cousins in India have it…they love it!
      and well..hmmm..let me make a “aunty” type comment:neenerneener:…abhi 2006 main ek se do hue…2007 do se teen toh ho jaaoge naaa?:rotfl:

      A very happy new year to Poonam & Neeraj. Hope 2007 also turns out to be as special as 2006.

      Equinox sounds great. I also bought a new Honda CRV last September on my birthday, and have been loving it ever since!
