NP’s Round of Blurbs

Whoo, its been a while. :lookaround: Well here I am writing again after what seemed like a pretty long hiatus for me. :smile: The weeks are flying, and I wish I had some time to catch my breath. :shy:

I wanted to do my random ramblings, but rather I am going to what’s going to be done as “blurbs”, so here it goes. :idea:

Buy.com Sucks!
So I check this website off and on because it provides with some good deals. So before Christmas it had a wonderful deal for a Polariod printer that with rebates would be free. So of course I bought it (on Dec. 17) and got the free shipping which would get to my house in 7-10 days, perfect for Christmas. Well guess what, it didn’t show. Then after Christmas I found out that it was out of stock and so I wanted to cancel, my cancellation request went through just yesterday after I threatened to do an investigation on them through my credit card company if they didn’t refund my $$. :irked: Another company that should be watched out for! :grumpy:

Football
1st round of playoffs are over, and the Chicago Bears play next weekend — go Bears!!!! :grin:

Da Bulls
My bro had gotten me Chicago Bulls (professional basketball) tickets for my birthday, so the three of us went on Saturday to Chicago to go watch them annihilate the Detroit Pistons! :grin: Awesome game and awesome present:!: :smile:

Amit Sadh — Grow Up
I think it was pretty pathetic of Amit Sadh on the last round of verdict for Bigg Boss to act so abnormal when he wasn’t asked to leave the house. Listen up buddy, you signed up for this and if you had even a slight idea that you wouldn’t be able to handle it or if you have a mental condition — then you shouldn’t have signed up! :irked: I have no sympathy for the guy, and I hope the Indian junta keeps voting the right way. :yes:

Visa Preps Still On the Way
We are working hard on the US tourist visas for our family, and so far its going good. :smile: There is a lot of things that one has to prepare for, its more difficult and time consuming most of all then what people think. :roll:

My Passport is Coming this Week — hopefully
I had sent my passport to get my name changed on it, and it really should have been here by now (I had paid extra $$ to get it in three working days) but with the holidays there has been a bit of a slowdown. I had called them on Friday night, and there is a day/night difference between calling the National Passport Center and the Immigration/Visa people. Hats off to you at the Passport Center! :thumbsup:

GMAT Preps
This sooo needs to happen. :sad:

Regular @ the Gym
We found out that the gym in our apartment complex has after hours, so now Neeraj and I are regulars there. :smile: I go to workout (I need to lose weight :yes: ), and Neeraj plays billiards. :lol: After I finish, we play a game of billiards. His game is really improving. :wink:

Guru - this weekend
Its Neeraj’s birthday weekend (also long weekend for us :grin: ), and we are going to go see the Abhishek/Aishwarya movie. :grin: I am excited. :smile:

Weather has been good — no snow
Let’s keep it this way. :grin:

Life has been good.

    Really? Buy.com gave you problems? I bought my Zen Vision M oevr thanksgiving and did standard shipping but it reached in like FOUR days!!! ditto my cousin who got something off there just before christmas. We both got GREAT deals and super fast delivery even with the free shipping option :yes: I was impressed. Its weird listening to a complete opposite experience from you….

    regular at the gym huh? wah wah! It sooooooooo needs to happen for me! sigh:banghead:

    Kya liya Neeraj ke liye? Waise Capricorns are not hard to impress apun ka experience bolta hai :wink: haha

    Am waiting for Guru too….I still wish Aishwarya wasnt in it :grumpy:

    I think Aman has used buy.com in the past…he didn’t have any problems:no:.
    Amit Sadh is so pathetic:eek:. He is actually playing the game. Something seriously seems to be wrong with his brain:rotfl:!!!
    We will be going to watch Guru also. I am not sure yet which show, but will let you know.
    Regular at Gym??? Even Aman is going everyday these days. I need to start too…just to stay fit & fine:yes:
    Weather has been simply superb!!! I hope it stays and stays and stays like this for another 3 months:smile:

    Gym…reminds Me that I’ve been planning to start my routine ….Even I am waiting for Guru..& then Salaam-e-Ishq.

    I am not too excited about Guru, but yeah definitely waiting for Salaam E Ishq. Hope it lives upto the promise of the promos.

    Amit was horrible in that episode. As Arshad Warsi informed, he is getting psychiatric help. I guess he needs it!

    Ya Kaush, I had a pretty bad experience with Buy.com. They were not very responsive at all. :irked: I had to finally threatened to have my credit card company do an investigation on them in order to get my money back. :irked: Anyway, I am glad to hear that you had a good experience, they do have good deals. :smile:

    Just as we talk about the weather Manu, we get ice:!: :cold: :grin: How was it at your place? We got a good chunk of ice here but not as bad as they were saying. I am glad that Monday is a day off. :wink:

    Rupali is now gone I hear from Bigg Boss Mehak. :smile: I think it was time for her to go — thoda jyaada hi woh bolne lag gayi thi. She wouldn’t have lasted till the end. I think it will be Rahul and Ravi that will make it to the end. :yes:

    We are going to go see Guru tonight Deepak. I have heard rave reviews so far, so let’s see what the verdict will be. :smile: :wink:
