Updates Galore…..

Back after a 9 day hiatus…..so much going on. 
I am going to sunny Phoenix, AZ tomorrow. I will be back on Saturday night (17th Feb). Don’t think you won’t hear from me throughout the week because I will write. 
I wish I wasn’t going but that’s whole different story. 
I am glad that my parents will be passing by on Wednesday this week to stay one night with Neeraj as they head to Nashville for a conference.
Life @ work — hectic for both of us. 
Neeraj and I came home at 7pm from the office yesterday. 
In the office on a Friday night till 7, shocker for the US.
Too cold here - this has to be one of the coldest winters that I can remember for a long time! Man, its been in the teens or single digit (Fahrenheit) for weeks!!! I am ready for some warm weather.

Amitabh gets a Rolls Royce for working with Vidhu Vinod Chopra???? Abhishek gets a Bentley for his birthday???? Geez louise, the Bachchans are really rev-ving it up in 2007. 
Neeraj’s parents have a visa interview in New Delhi for 9th March. Please do pray for us that it all works out so that they are able to come to the US. 
They will come in May of this year, if it works out just properly. We are holding a grand bash for our 1st Wedding Anniversary which we want them to be present for here in the US.
Looking for a mast camera for Neeraj and me. I want something snazzy, so I am doing some research. Dekhte hain what I am able to find.
Trying to install Linux on our old PC but hit a snafu…looks like we will have to replace the CD-ROM drive, so its kind of on the backburner.
Otherwise….the Bears lost in the Super Bowl (American Football championship), and prior to that game on last Sunday, Neeraj and I went to see Salaam-e-Ishq. Expectations for the movie were high, and it did even was close to living up to it. 
The movie was horrible with it lasting over 4 hours — we had to get up and leave the movie theatre because the Super Bowl game had already started. 
It could have ended so many times, but Nikhil Advani kept on lenghtening the movie. The story idea was great - but just poor direction. Two thumbs down. 
Now there isn’t any movie to really look forward to for a while….

I’m feeling all Jealous (note the capital J) of you guys… Bombay is so warm.. I love winters.. and here.. the temp is like mid 20 degrees… in Jan & Feb :(
You can install linux using http://ftp... no need to get a cdrom IMO…
Haven’t seen Salaam-e-Ishq yet… and looking at the reviews and comments it is getting, I guess I should easily give it a miss :)
Talking about good movies… check out Black Friday… Eklavya (relasing next week)… Parzaania (not sure about the spellings)…

Salaam-e-Ishq is definitely a miss, too long and no point.
Why you jealous man?? I would rather be in Aamchi Mumbai any day.
Nah..none of those movies seems like a killer one to see.
Guru was the last best movie I have seen. 
7pm is too late when regular we leave office at 4.30.

Good luck for the course Poonam. Sorry the bears lost. I just saw a couple of quarters. I hope the visa interview goes well for Neeraj’s parents in March. An anniversary bash sounds like a great idea… (are your internet friends invited?) :)

How’s the trip ? Hope you have a great time there! Is it a business trip or a holiday? :) I can’t wait for my current project completes and I am planning to have a holiday on May ;)
I and Suhadi are planning to go to US this year for holiday, hopefully nothing will change our plan AGAIN :???: It has been delayed for few times. 
and of course, hopefully I have a chance to meet with you 
I have been going home late almost everyday, sometimes I think we live for work rather than the other way around
Hope Neeraj’s parents will do well for the visa interview, hope everything will go well and they will come to US soon
Ahh Salaam-e-Ishq isn’t good? I was thinking to watch that movie but hasn’t got times yet … maybe now I just wait for the dvd rather than going to the cinema to watch it. Have a great day Poonam!

Salaam E Ishq was bullshit
Imagine, i saw it first day first show and was pulling my hair out. It cud hv ended the moment they showed all the couples, coz nothing happens after that!:duh:
