Hello From Phoenix
So its Thursday, the week is almost over.
Yay!
Training has been beneficial, but I want to see Neeraj.
Weather has been great here: 75F. Back home in STL, there was 6 inches of snow on Tuesday (Neeraj came home from work at 10 am as the office was closed). Mumma and Papa had 10+ inches of snow at their place, and Suraj had around 8+ inches.
I guess I was in the warmest place between all of us.
I wish they were with me, we would have had a better time than they did.
Due to the unexpected day off, Neeraj did watch Bhagam Bhaag but he said that I wouldn’t like it
— he said that it was tough for him to finish it too! ![]()
Overall, my experience here didn’t start out well due to a certain rental car company (read: Enterprise) which caused me a lot of pain.
No one was at the counter to provide me with a car at 11pm when I arrived in Phoenix.
I waited for 45 minutes before I decided to call their general customer support number, only to find out that if no one is there to complete your order, you have to go to another car rental company to get a car.
I was one upset person because I knew that if I went to get a car somewhere else, it will cost me (read: my company) a huge chunk of $$. Aargh.
Don’t worry, I am not going to rent from them anytime soon
I haven’t really ventured out anywhere, I went to the mall that is across the street, and that’s about it. Maybe I should go out and check out the sites around, but I am really not in the mood. I am going to get some souvenirs for the family, so I will go looking for that either tonight or tomorrow night.
I would like to say that I have been very good at going to the gym — they have a great fitness center in the hotel, and I have been utilizing that every single day that I have been here.
I usually go after training is over at 6.30 pm. Neeraj has been good @ reminding me to go too.
Upon returning from Phoenix, Neeraj and I are going to Morton for the weekend to complete some unfinished business.
Koffee with Karan
I did watch the first episode Koffee with Karan thanks to the Internet.
His first guests in the new season were his good friends, Kajol, Rani, and Shah Rukh. I thought it was a good episode, and I really liked it when he asked the question to Kajol and Rani about if the reason they were sitting so far away from each other on the couch was due to the fact that they didn’t like each other.
You should have seen their faces - even though I did read that Kajol, Rani, and SRK knew what questions were going to be asked to them.
Next episode is suppose to be Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan, but I don’t know how exciting that is going to be.
I would like to see Aish and Abhishek on the show, or Juhi Chawla and Aamir Khan.
Next I am going to find the V-Day episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati and watch that tonight.
Alvida. Jai Mata Di.

Seems you have a pretty good times there in Phoenix … but I know how badly you miss Neeraj
It happened to me too
I have been assigned to a project in Malaysia and I have been in here for 1 month plus. According to the schedule, I will be there until June but there is a probability that they will extend it
I love travelling but being apart with Suhadi is really tough

I love Koffee with Karan show but unfortunately, tv here only showed the first season but not sure whether they will show it again or not. Wow, what did they answer when Karan asked Rani and Kajol that question?

Oh wow Mona.
Consulting is a pain for that main reason only that you have to be so far away from your loved ones. How is your project going? Hope all is well on the work side for you.
I am ready to be home, and I can’t wait for tomorrow.
So Rani and Kajol just kind of looked at each other for a split second, and then Kajol had said that it seems that the Indian media doesn’t seem to be happy if you are anywhere in the middle, you either have to be friends or enemies. Kajol sees Rani has a younger sister, as Rani is more of Tanisha’s age (they were closer, than Rani-Kajol). Rani was very very quiet throughout the show, which was a bit uncomfortable for me watching because she usually is the bubbly talkative one.
So I am not sure if something was bothering or if she has turned over a new leaf or something.
Definitely I don’t get these shows either, but there are websites where you are able to see them — here’s a good one that I use. The streaming is good, and all you have to do is create a login ID and password. Its all free.
