Current Tune: Teri Charan Kamal to Vaari – Narendra Chanchal

So its that time again to provide my take on what is going NP hears in the news and other current events.

First of all, I was listening to this bhajan while writing this post, and its just so reviving. I could listen to Narendra Chanchal’s bhajans all day long. :smile: Teri Charan Kamal To Vaari…

  • DJ Aqueel detained in Dubai on drug charges — interesting…they were showing this news piece on Star News, and Neeraj immediately says, “DJ Aqueel looks gay”.. :smile: These celebrities think they can get away of stuff cuz they are famous – guess what…sometimes you get caught. :smile:
  • Tulsi has been burnt and her face changed!! Looks like the biggest news in India because Mumma called me and said that its all that they have been showing on Aaj Tak all day, and Neeraj and I also noticed the same on Star News! Looks like Kyunki… rules India. :roll:
  • Speaking of Narendra Chanchal above…still waiting on news on when he will be coming to Chicago — this month or next. :roll: Hopefully will find out soon. :smile:
  • Paris Hilton in jail — she belonged there a long time ago. :yes:
  • Parents got Neeraj and I a DVD Recorder + VCR as an anniversary gift so that we can start recording the shows that we tape in the DVR…. finally got it setup today. :smile:
  • Jhoom Barabar Jhoom so far has only one track that is worth listening to more than once….the title track. :smile:
  • I liked it so much, I made it my ring tone. :grin:
  • I don’t think that JBJ is going to be a super-hit, but I still want to see my dear Abhishek. :wink:
  • Amitabh and Aamir fighting for farmer land — Aamir even says that his father was a farmer, so that means he’s a farmer’s son, he’s able to buy that land….Well Aamir, even I have great-grandfather who farmed in Mumbai, does that mean that I am also able to buy land? :roll: :lol:
  • Anybody seen Manpreet? :cool: What’s up with getting a Bloggers’ Meet together? We haven’t done that in a long time. :roll:
  • All I can say is eew. :eek:
  • I was hooked on Antakshari for a long time, and then I missed the big finale because it was the weekend of our anniversary party!!!! :irked: So now I am trying to find it online so that I can watch it. DO NOT TELL ME WHO WON!!!!!!!

      Manpreete was around a while ago no? I am all up for blogger meet. Ab to apun weekends ko work bhi nahi karta:hyper:

      and Kyunki…that started like WAY long before I even moved to the US! How long isit gonna run?!? It is the lifeline of Indian saas’s and bahus!

      In jhoom barabar jhoom..I like the beat of that kiss of love song..ticket to hollywood is worth a miss..but the title track is nice :-)

      I wanna see that movie. i am just curious what it is about!

      Arrey… I’m still here.. have been very, very busy offlate… had to catch up with lots of things… new job… lots of travelling… etc etc…

      so couldn’t blog.. nor visit anybody’s else!!

      JBJ will be a timepass movie.. nothing more IMO!.. I want to watch cheeni kum.. and shootout @ lokhandwala.. its been ages since i last saw any movie… :(

      and yes, i am game for bloggers meet… can we have it sometime next month… i’m fully occupied this month…

      Ya Kyunki has been going strong for seven years…seems that Ekta Kapoor was ready to get someone else in the role of Tulsi. :smile:

      Title track has been my fav so far on JBJ.

      i am in bangalore for couple of weeks… then only god knows where i will land up after that… could be delhi.. mumbai or maybe even US… lets see…
