Current Tune: Jhoom Barabar Jhoom – Jhoom Barabar Jhoom
Another weekend passes…it passes just like another day.
At times we feel there isn’t time in the day or enough days in a week to accomplish anything and everything.
Oh well, life goes on…..
NP.com has made its first $100 from Google Ads!! Exciting news after it took us….a year!!!
The past two weekends we have been heading back to Morton. Two weekends ago it was Suraj’s birthday, and then last weekend we had to get our dear Sonu (our Hyundai Sonata, pyaar se hum usko Sonu bulaate hain
) an oil change. Yes, we trek three hours over to Morton to get an oil change because we had gotten a deal through the dealer when we bought the car.
The weekend ended up being lots of fun — I had wanted to go see Ocean’s Thirteen, and I had thought that Suraj, Neeraj, and myself could go on Saturday. Unfortunately Suraj beat us to it and had gone on Friday.
He enjoyed which was good.
Neeraj and I had picked up Mumma from Springfield on Friday, so she was with us at home in Morton for the weekend as well. We decided to go out in the evening to Bloomington and just go shopping. We ended up eating out at a sandwich place that we all love, and it ended up being a nice relaxing evening. Sunday, Suraj, Neeraj, and I went out for some by going putt putt golfing at Suraj’s favorite place. Because Suraj had played on this course many times he had an advantage, but we definitely didn’t see it in the first 9 holes.
Neeraj had the lead, but he slowly gave it away in the last 9.
I came in right in the middle with Suraj being first, and Neeraj being last in the scores.
Then we went bowling……..I hate bowling.
I am a bad bowler as you can read from my past experiences.
We played two games, and I came last in all two games.
Suraj won the first one, and Neeraj won the second one. Overall fun experience, but I didn’t even break a 100.
Now back in STL and back to normal life. We finally took photos of our dear Dodge Neon (yes we are selling JollyFace, pyaar se bulaate hain again
). I am going to put it up in the various classified and hope that we can get some $$ out of it.
Aur toh bas….jhoom rahe hain..
Alvida. Jai Mata Di.

Jhooming allright! sahi hai….Its hard to part with a car you have been attached to! Chalo but life moves on .

Hey girl…lot seems to be going on at your end. We have been on our toes as well. My dad was with me past two weeks so I was spending time with him while Aman was preparing for his CISA exam. He finally took it last weekend. I just got back from Milwaukee, WI today. Now looking forward to the weekend.
Hey, we are planning another game nigth at our place (the last one that you missed was a big hit!). No date has been decided yet, but we would love to have you 2 here. So let me know what weekend would work the best for you.
Ok, I will call u tonigth. I keep saying…and then keep forgetting. BTW, my cell# has changed, so if you see a call from a weird #, do pick it up:)…More later.
Haan yaar Kaush, we must move on I guess.
You should try golfing, I would start with putt-putt, and then if you like that, move on your way up to what I call the “big” golf.
Jollyface is the name of my dear old saathi (car) Manpreet.
Neeraj and I don’t use it anymore, and we are in the process of selling it, very sad because this car has been with me since I was in 12th grade.
Putt Putt golf is great, you should try it.
