Just Random..Here it Comes

So I haven’t gotten yet to the point of writing about the Vegas trip…it will happen, but not yet. I have to be in the mood to do it.

Well this post is just random thoughts that are going through my mind, so if it doesn’t make sense….oh well. Anyway, here it goes….

As you listen to this song, Labon Ko from Bhool Bhulaiya, do you see any similarities between this song and the song from Awarapan called Toh Phir Aao? They sound too similar to me. I don’t know who was the music director for Awarapan but I was listening to Toh Phir Aao right before I started to listen to this song, and I felt that I was in a deja vu state.

This week Neeraj and I are going to have our first MBA exam, and the lucky class is Accounting for Managers. Wish us luck. I think it will go fine. We haven’t been back to Morton for over a month (that has to be a record for us), so we will be going this upcoming weekend. Perfect timing to make it for one round of garba/raas as Saturday will be the last day of it at the mandir in Peoria.

Happy Belated Birthday to Diane! I was thinking about her all week, and I knew her birthday was coming up…but the office has been nuts this week (in fact it was a bad week), so I would tell myself, write an email to Diane, but never get to it. Sorry Diane. But anyway, I finally sent her an email on Saturday. I hope she and Daniel had a good one (her first bday celebration in her new home - Arizona! ).

You would think we would have gotten all the window blinds up in the house by now.. uhhh.. nope. But Neeraj had been working diligently on it for the past few weekends. My dear has done a great job so far! Also, I have told Neeraj that he has to start blogging - so look for more posts from the man himself.

FINALLY got the file sharing working between the two PCs (upstairs and downstairs)! Darn firewall was blocking the traffic.

We were going to see Laaga Chunari Main Daag yesterday but opted out after waking up late that morning and getting minimal done. I don’t know how the movie was or what the reviews were (not that I like reading them or putting ‘vishwaas’ on what they write) but I guess we will check it out when it comes out on DVD. I would have liked to see it, but Neeraj wasn’t too interested either. Maybe we will go see Bhool Bhulaiya which is coming to a theatre near us in two weeks!

There is only one song from Om Shanti Om that is worth listening to (atleast for me), which is Deewangi Deewangi. The video, from what I have seen, seems awesome too with the most of the Indian Film Fraternity coming in for a cameo. Saawariya doesn’t seem interesting at all from the promos. So the movie that I want to see is Madhuri Dixit’s Aaja Nachle. I saw a promo last night, and it looks good

I can’t believe that we are almost halfway done with October. This year is going by sooo fast. Thanksigiving and Black Friday is just around the corner. Yay! I am ready for some time off. There is no plan of going anywhere for the rest of the year. I don’t have many days off left anyway, so we will take one or two days off around Christmas and New Years. It gets really quiet around the office anyway during this time of the year.

If anybody is following American football, could the Bears have played any worse today? Geez!! They lost from a team that has only one win! India also lost the match last night against Australia. No good in sports.

One last thing…my favorite serial (tv show), Baa Bahoo Aur Baby…why did they have to kill Praveena? Nahi karna chaiye tha aaise…ek minute main hasi…doosra minute main rona.. nahi yaar.. behkaar.
