Highlights from Flight OBM2!

Neeraj and I can now say that Flight OBM 2 had a very successful journey as it made its way around the world picking up passengers and taking them on a ride that they shall remember. 
The flight started in Aamchi Mumbai picking up one of its first and finest passengers, our poet, Kunal. Ghar main pav bhaji main ban rahi thi toh jaldi macchi hui thi to get on the plane. Right after, the free-spirited and sooo funny Pareeka entered the plane from Australia. Delhite Ankur was not far behind, waiting for the plane since its original time of 7 pm IST (sorry Ankur for the delay 
).
The chat slowly began as we waited for the other passengers. Dharadhar the passengers came rushing in with Prasad ahead of the line from Bangalore. Yeh ek hi time hai jab Sify aur uska cyber cafe humein bahut kaam aaya. 
Our Kolkata ki rani Mallika made it by getting home early from the office.
Now the masti began with Prasad, Kunal, and myself voice chatting, but what was the best part was that everyone could hear what we were saying, which made it quite enjoyable! Kunal all invited us to enjoy the pav bhaji at his home, but junta was requesting pizzas and cold drinks:!: 
The idea of having Pizza Hut sponsoring the next OBM was brought up and given to Kunal to organize.
As we had some newcomers from the previous OBM, we did some quick intros with where we are from, age, single or married, interesting fact, and the most memorable moment of this year. Then, like the first OBM, we had a question/answer session with each person where you can ask anything and everything.
As we discussed Kunal’s marriage plans, Akash came up running into the plane requesting that his marriage be the next one to happen. 
As we discussed about getting married, floods in Ahmedabad (Akash is from there), and yummy food, we kept on going through intros as well.
My dear Neeraj was stuck in traffic coming from Goregaon to Powai and hence was late. But once he entered and was on the mic as well, the fun began with Kunal causing all types of punga between Neeraj and myself. That’s what Kunal does best. Webcams were up as well (Prasad, Neeraj, and myself) and everyone had a chance to check out Neeraj’s microphone that looked more like a phone.
Akash requested if another blogger, Anubha, could also join. She came right after Neeraj and also had a mic. Later as the voice chatting continued, Ankur remarks:

Definitely a compliment for her, jawaani hamesha rahegi. 
As intros continued, there were much more we learned abt. our fellow bloggers that we didn’t know before. Kunal was the oldest in the group (1975 born) with Ankur being two years younger than him. From the last OBM, we had heard Mallika’s story, and she was able to share her good news of the year. Pareeka’s introduction started a discussion on the point system in Australia as her interesting fact was that she had received a speeding ticket recently. But also congrats are in order as she also received a promotion at her job! Prasad had worked in Chennai previously coming to Bangalore to work for IBM.
Then the lady entered the plane with full josh, our very own Rashu dear. Bechari ko itna problem ho raha tha, for some reason she was unable to enter the OBM quarters, par Yahoo prevails. As she gave her intro, Akash found out that she is 19 yrs of age (he is also ). With a response she says:
yea akash… me is 19…. does that make you flutter your eyelashes?!?!?
We all got a good laugh as they discussed who was older between Akash and Rashu. At the end with Akash giving Rashu a big hug. Love is in the air. 
Bahut masti aayi.
Once the intros were all done, we started playing a game, 2 Truths and 1 Lie. We would go down the list and everyone would say 2 Truths and 1 Lie, and the rest of the junta would guess which is the lie. Akash started it off with this:
1.) i love mariaaaahhhh 2.) i’m a not a virgin 3.) i am smart!
Gives you an idea of how much fun we had! It was such a blast playing this game:!: To give you an idea, bechari Mallika had tution in the next morning (Sunday) at 7 am and needed to leave, but she was enjoying the game so much, she ended up staying till almost the very end.
The highlight of the OBM goes to our singers. Once it was Anubha’s turn, we found out that she was a singer. Junta requested her very much to sing a song, and soon the singing began. She sang for us, Chura Liya hai Tumne. She sang beautifully! Then it was Neeraj who also sang (mind you he was @ the cyber cafe ). He sang, Kya Yehi Pyar Hai, from Rocky. He also sang wonderfully, and I am glad that the junta got to see his talent that I have been able to cherish for the past five years.
Then Kunal, not being a big Hindi songs fan, sang Annie’s Song, an English song. He also has a great singing voice. Our very own Rashu dear also sang an English song by Kevin Little. I knew that she was a singer and am glad that she sang in her mast mast voice.
So much else happened, but that gives you some highlights. For those that missed, it was an enjoyable OBM where I spent most of the time laughing. I had a fultoo fun time and hope that everyone did as well:!:

OBM is always great, I wish I could join one day. It’s not my chance to join either yesterday I guess … suddenly I had fever on saturday morning and still feeling unwell now :???: couldn’t get up from the bed.

ya… it was a great day for us… we got to know more abt each other.. but, sad that the sifywala had to close the browsing center earlier.. or else I wouldn’t have missed the singing part…. :((
Nevertheless, it was a great OBM.. and I got to know lots of new ppl thro’ this..

It was fun watching Poonam blush when Neeraj was singing lol that was like a kodak moment !!!
Next OBM theres def going to be an antakshari what say Poonam ?
and one more thing we shud def hv it more often !
although not many ppl came in it was GOOD fun for almost 4 hrs…
lets say OBM was the highlight of the weekend for me…

Neeraj sang really well and i’ll never forget the blush on your face when he was singing. I missed Kunal’s song so he better be prepared to sing 2 songs the next time 
im all ears. Yes it was soooo much fun and all thanks to Akash n you guys!!! You people rock!!! hope to see you guys soon in another OBM.
Thanks for having me there i had an absolutely rocking time, it was great meeting all of you. Yea i remember Ankur’s saying that about my voice :razz:. LOL i remember Neeraj’s “stock broker” mic. You people are so sweet you bore my singing and murdering a beautiful no.

Hmm, I won’t be there. 
I also had Pizza Hut on Sunday Prasad.
It is kind of funny that many of us ended up having pizza later that day or soon after.

Sorry Kunal, but Neeraj and I are thinking for the next OBM to be in August. We are kind of booked for the rest of July. Plus we would love to be together in the same country, same state, same city, same street, same house, same room, on the same PC and talking to you all.
