Happy 1st Birthday NP.com!

Sunday, June 26th, 2005

neerajpoonam.com has completed its one year on 24th June, 2005. Great achievement for us. Thanks for all of you who really devoted their valuable time in writing comments and telling their opinions on each and every post that we had in last one year. Especially, a terrific effort by Poonam.

Okay about the weather over here, its not that much rainy in last two days. The weather is really cool and pleasant but you can not go anywhere without an umbrella because rains can be there at any time. I really hope if I need not to travel much regarding the visa documents. Most of the Mumbai certificates are now settled, and I will go get my passport and PCC tomorrow at the post office near to my home.

Have you heard that Bangladesh has defeated Australia in last ODI? It’s just amazing, I have read ball by ball commentary on cricinfo.com, B’s played really wonderful. Besides this, in all rest of the matches Bangladesh looked quite competitive. That’s really good otherwise Australia was dominating in cricket like any thing in past 2-3 years but recently they lost 4 consecutive matches. I am sure Ricky Ponting, the captain, would have been scared of that since last two captains were dismissed because of the poor performance(based on result) of the team.

I am going to be there for the OBM. The time was clearly mentioned as 7 PM IST(Indian Standard Time) by Poonam so I hope there is no more confusion among all of us. See all of you there!

2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece

Current Tune: Vande Mataram

Teamwork. Practice. Hardwork. Many many hours of training. Determination. Just a few things that you need to be an Olympic athlete. Today is the first day of the Olympics in Athens, Greece.

I am quite excited as I hope that India & USA do really well in their respective fields. For so many years as I have been watching Opening Day of the Olympics, always looking for the Indian team to see how many athletes are represented and in what sports so that I could watch them.

Other than cricket, did you know that we have many great athletes in India? It seems that many athletes get overshadowed because of the cricket team.

CHALLENGE…FOR…YOU…

WITHOUT LOOKING OR RESEARCHING — how many athletes are representing India in this year’s 2004’s Olympics in Athens? 1 point for each correct athlete name and 1 extra point for the name of their respective sports. For instance, Michael Jordan - Basketball = 2 pts.

Answers and prizes will be given shortly. No points for any repeated answers.

What kind of sport is bowling??

Monday, July 5th, 2004

So today I have a day off because of 4th of July, so my bro (Suraj) wants to do something and he suggests bowling. Now what kind of sport is bowling?? You have a heavy ball and you try to throw it in a very narrow lane and try to hit to 10 oddly shaped objects. Where is the fun in that??

Arre bhai, if you want to do something then let’s play baseball, tennis, cricket, soccer, yaa basketball. Yeh sab ko sport khelwaa sakta hai. Another NON SPORT is GOLF. My god, chota sa ball ko bahut durr maarne ki koshish main lage hote hain….poora din nikaal denge woh chota sa ball ko ek chota sa hole main daalne ke liye. Arre bhayia, bas jaao wahan haath se daal aao naa

The ONLY other reason I am saying this is because I am not good in bowling  But if you challenge me in any of the sports above….. sabun lagaa ke dho daalongi :lol:

Chalo Alvida for now. Jai Mata Di.

UPDATE: Kamaal ho gaya!!!! Maine bhayia ko haraa diya!!! My best in bowling was 78 and today I did 110!!!! Bhayia’s best is 150 and he scored a mere 101. Dekhaa..sabun lagaa ke dho daalongi
