Its been tough trying to find time to upload and save the shaadi photos, but it has been started. You can now start checking out the photos of the wedding that have been finally been uploaded.

Photos will continue to be uploaded in the next day or so. I should hopefully be done by Wednesday night.

The password protected on the photos are back on. It should be the same as last time, but if in case anyone has forgotten I will try to send out an email to our regular readers, but you can contact us as well.

New post coming up soon this week. There is a special post that I will write about in the next day or so about Neeraj and my first day together after being pronounced husband and wife.

As you all know, we are going to Chicago tomorrow for my bridal shower, so I won’t get a chance to write again before the festive holiday.

We will be celebrating Holi at our mandir (temple) on Sunday from 11.30 am to 2 pm. It should be a fun time!!! This is the first Holi that Neeraj and I are together, and so we are going to enjoy to the fullest!!

Otherwise, I wanted to share with our readers that there is a very good chance that the password protectedness of this website will soon go away. I am very much ready to get rid of the password protectedness as there is no more reason for it — other than the fact that my cousins don’t know the real story of how Neeraj and I met — which I may get rid of anyway. We will see….but there might be a change to NP.com very soon.

With Captain Manpreet leading the way, we are ready to enjoy the next OBM flight scheduled to take off on Saturday, July 2nd.

Its an evening flight @ 7 PM IST (Indian Standard Time) for those boarding on from India, and an early morning flight for those US passengers.

Now to enjoy to the fullest, please have your webcams and microphones on and ready. Ask any of the people on the microphones last OBM, how much fun it was voice chatting:!:

neerajpoonam.com has completed its one year on 24th June, 2005. Great achievement for us. Thanks for all of you who really devoted their valuable time in writing comments and telling their opinions on each and every post that we had in last one year. Especially, a terrific effort by Poonam.

Okay about the weather over here, its not that much rainy in last two days. The weather is really cool and pleasant but you can not go anywhere without an umbrella because rains can be there at any time. I really hope if I need not to travel much regarding the visa documents. Most of the Mumbai certificates are now settled, and I will go get my passport and PCC tomorrow at the post office near to my home.

Have you heard that Bangladesh has defeated Australia in last ODI? It’s just amazing, I have read ball by ball commentary on cricinfo.com, B’s played really wonderful. Besides this, in all rest of the matches Bangladesh looked quite competitive. That’s really good otherwise Australia was dominating in cricket like any thing in past 2-3 years but recently they lost 4 consecutive matches. I am sure Ricky Ponting, the captain, would have been scared of that since last two captains were dismissed because of the poor performance(based on result) of the team.

I am going to be there for the OBM. The time was clearly mentioned as 7 PM IST(Indian Standard Time) by Poonam so I hope there is no more confusion among all of us. See all of you there!

I was hoping that Neeraj would write a post, but because he has had close to none time, I guess I will have to spread the good news.

At his work, Neeraj is one of 40 Java/J2ee developers, and currently they are going through their apprasial process. Not only did he receive a 5 out of 5 rating for his appraisal, but my dear jaan was awarded as the “Most Talented Developer“ on the team:!:

My love, you have worked really hard the past year with this company. Only you and I know that you came into this company a year ago with hardly any hands-on J2EE experience and have carried the team throughout the many releases. I am really so happy for you Neeru, you really deserve this award for all of the hardwork you have done. I am so proud of you my love!!

Because of these good news, I am treating you all to a lovely treat, rasgoolas. Enjoy!

Now the next piece of business, after much adue, NP.com would like to award Miss Pareeka Murti on a job well done, as she receives the trophy for the Mathematician of the Year award. Pareeka was the first to complete both questions on the “Can You Solve This?” post, and Neeraj and I would like to present her with this trophy. I know it may seem like nothing, but do remember that you are receiving this award from NP.com. Thanks for being a great sport and answering the questions.

Tomorrow I am headed with Mumma to the Hari Om Mandir in Chicago to see Narendra Chanchal live. This is the second time that it is being held @ the mandir, and let me tell you its going to be as good as the last time. Will show you all of the pics once I return on Saturday.

After a long long time of just thinking about upgrading the blog to WP 1.5 and a new snazzy template, its all been completed. Thanks to the help of Puneet of starting the header (which I completed with the photo on the right side ) and to a nice template off the Alex King Theme Competition site, NP.com is new and improved.

Those who use IE 6 will have noticed that is what I was using to update our blog because it doesn’t look as good in Mozilla. Why do browsers have to be so difficult? Plan for tonight is to make it look better in Mozilla, but the recommendation might be to use IE 6.

I just downloaded Firefox and so far I like it. Still lots of experimenting to do. I have noticed the left bar problem — kinda looks all squished.

I am thinking of maybe just doing a new layout/template — fixed width like Monty, Manpreet, and many others.

OR We could stick to this one — but we need a favor.
